There are 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 young children.
We live in a 3-bed rented terrace with rubbish insulation! We've got the Warm Front people coming out soon to hopefully sort that out with insulation and draught-proofing.
(if you are on a low income - google 'warm front')
I don't pay by DD, maybe we should but I hate the idea they can put up your monthly DD payments - I like to be more in control.
At the moment I am with BG Click Energy 5 for both and make online payments monthly along with monthly meter readings to keep ahead of myself.
We pay £20/month gas and £40/month electric and we are never far off, usually we are in credit.0 -
With scottish power i currently pay £45 a month and £30 for the gas on DD, although i enter my readings every month so i know where i stand lol. last month i used £4 of gas and £6.20 in standing charge how fair is that, NOT! lol now on NSC and switched both to E.on with one of those new scary meters, i've never hoovered up so fast before! In 45 days we used 496 units electric and 5 of gas lol 2 people, 2 bed mews house, power shower, electric oven, combi boiler.War does not decide who is right, It decides who is left.0

Gas bill 3-bed terraced - gas cooking, heating & water now £15 per month - though in credit, was £12 per month and that was in credit, but when switched supplier changed to paying slightly more to cover any increases in cost that might happen and had almost £90 back from old supplier for gas and that wasn't the first refund we'd had with them. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
