HELP!! Been in a prang with a provisional licence holder!

Hi all,
I was in a prang with a woman last night, she admitted full liability. I made a claim today through my insurance company to get on to hers.
She contacted me this afternoon to say that she isn't a full licence holder, she has insurance but for a provisional licence and she must have someone else in the car with her. Which she didn't at the time of the accident!!
She now tells me that she will pay cash to have my car fixed, if I don't go through with my insurance claim.
My question is, would I be covered by her insurance - even though she was on her own in the car??
Also, would she be looking at a criminal record for driving without insurance so to speak??
I've got til 9am tomorrow to decide what to do.
Any advice much appreciated,
D#

Were you hurt in the accident and do you need to claim for injuries or do you just need the car fixed? And have you an independent witnesses?0

Wont it be too late to stop going through the insurance if you have already contacted your insurance wont things already be moving? She shouldnt have been in the car on her own and should have told you soonerWeight Loss - 102lb0

My necks not stiff as yet, though apparently this can come on days later.
No witnesses, just the 2 drivers.

As someone who knows little..
If she was a learner, and didn't have anyone with her, then she wouldn't be insured - no wonder she wants to pay cash..!!!
Your call...
Personally I would shop her, but you may just want to take the cash and run................Genie

tbh i would be very very wary of her offering to pay cash as she could well pull out of doing this, have you asked your insurance company what to do? i wonder if she has any insurance at all really and i think its pretty !!!!!! that she was driving on her own, she shouldve told you this at the time, but probably didnt want to be caught out by the police. shes offered you cash as this makes her insurance void too by the way.
I wouldnt do her any favours, who cares if she ends up with a record, she knowingly got behind the wheel and didnt give a toss about hitting anyone, and tbh it couldve been alot worse!0 -

Apparently not, I can close the claim tomorrow.
I really don't know what to do.

I think I would have no sympathy to be honest, sorry if that seems harsh but the bottom line of it is that she was driving when she shouldnt have been
I would tell her you have already contacted your insurance company and cant stop it going through nowWeight Loss - 102lb0 -

At the end of the day, I want my car fixed.
That may seem selfish, but it's my only asset.

My main priority is to get my motor sorted, at the end of the day if she don't pay I will shop her.
