Back from the town with food. Managed to get new school sweatshirts for DS1 they do look a lot bigger than his old ones but then his old ones were too small. Can't try them on him until Friday so not going to label them until then.

Treated myself to a new top whilst I was in there for working so hard in the kitchen (don't think I'll tell DH as he is not going to be impressed that I've left the ceiling for him to do).

Sides and tummy are aching now maybe it was not a good idea to restart pilates the day I would be climbing on and off the table and reaching up the walls.

I'm actually missing the kids it is so quiet, think I'll hoover downstairs.

Diva welcome. I am a procrastinator and now know that how ever much pressure I put myself under I will still do things last minute so I just accept it now. I'll nag you, I like nagging and am very very experienced at it!

  • Hi all

shell, ginger girl, dustykitten and polka dot- thank you for your welcomes.

Before I was forced to give up work I was a counsellor/life coach for many many years and have been the one 'encouraging' others along the way to changes, both physical and emotional/mental, but now I find I am only able to really push myself under pressure and I don't want that any more!! Plus I still have a couple of clients I support online, and I sometimes think - if they could only see the state of my desk right now...:rotfl:

Anyway, basically I would like NOT to be a grouch every time I have a deadline for something. PLUS I am a pack rat, and every corner of the house is full of things!!

So, that's a little about me and I am looking forward to getting to know you all better!

    Diva.xx

Edited to say: Jackie - Thank you for your kind words about my 'Daily' messages, that was really kind of you!

  • Hi all, anyone know how to stop water leaking through your ceiling from overfilling a tank? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had to laugh or I think I would have cried... DS is in a state of panic coz he thinks its his fault and he is going to blow all the electrics in the house and cause a massive fire and wreck the tele and the floor and the sofa and the carpet and... (can't tell he's a worrier can you... :rotfl: )

But basically everything is fine except where the wallpaper is bubbling where wet, but that will dry out... The carpet is now wet a bit in his room, but only by the tank and it is only a freecycle one that we got to put in his room until I have saved up enough to get the whole upstairs done in the same stuff, so not worried about that, the floor in our room is soaked, but as it is only the floorboards, again, not worried about that, and only a bit is coming down the walls in the lounge, and again, that will dry out... DS is calming down now I have said it is my fault (well, I knew the hose was on too coz I turned the blooming thing on...:D - we had cleaned it out and it is one of those big jobbies that takes ages to fill, so hence the hose through the bedroom window coz I'm too lazy to use a bottle or jug, well! how else would you do it  :rotfl: :rotfl: )

Ooooh, I feel like one of those mums on TV when the kids come in covered in c**p after you have just put nice clean clothes on them, and she turns round and smiles and says, don't worry arielpersilbold will get it out, and they all laugh - Maybe I'm in shock!:rotfl:

So have finished flying for the day I think... had achieved quite a bit before that, will post later (after drying out) ;)

WellI've done my first HHC  I dusted and swept the hall (upstairs and down), and de-webbed the living room. Having a break while the Simpsons is on, then I'm going to tackle the Tuesday Level 1 list.

Oooh whilst I'm writing, I'll tell you all that me and my boyfriend signed the papers for our new flat today! Moving in on the 6th September!!

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday! xx
