We finally had dinner (lunch?) at 3pm after going out this morning (me and 2xDDs) and I've just spent about 45 minutes digging in the garden. Another square yard of border weeded and dug over. Getting there! It will all need digging over again at the end because it's only roughly dug but it needs time to dry out a bit after being so compacted. I'll try and do some more later in the week but I've already got a green wheelie bin full and two black bags full.
DH is still watching motorcycling......but he did take out my broken kitchen drawer this morning and glue it back together so hopefully that can go back in tomorrow. Stuff all over the side of course though.0 -
Poor Bo has wet his bed, so i wondering if i wash it at 40. Should i put anything on the bedding first before putting it into the machine and what should i do after the wash to make sure the machine is really clean????
Any help would be great he normally wouldn't go in the house.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I usually wash puppy's bedding, which she has wee'd on several times, at 60. Then just run an empty hot wash afterwards.0

vanilla - I'd probably wash it higher than 40 if it will go, vanilla - maybe give it a spray with vanish or something first? or stardrops or something? don't know really. i think water is the key thing with pet wee, i know with carpets that's the main thing. I am sure others will have more ideas.
dusty - that is one thing that worries me about having kids - i would love one soonish but I worry i'd get bored playing etc...
I have mixed up my bread and have now left it to rise (hopefully). tried to halve the recipe so not sure if i got it right but we'll see!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
DS has still not slept-the woman next door (the other side from the midnight movers) is redoing her kitchen and scraping her wall! Shes been at it all day!And her kitchen wall is back to back with my bedroom wall. Prior to this we've dealt with a month of drilling and banging etc and even a skip outside thats caused parking problems!!! I have never said a word to her and now Ive just decided to pop in and ask how long she'll be and got a smart ( tooo vulgar for me to type out). It has nothing to do with me what she is doing or how long it will take.
Now I understand that people are entitled to do this stuff, but surely when its a project as big as this that will affect someone for this long, the courteous thing is to inform your neighbours? Or am I just not on the same page?

Mine were taught early on I am not here as their entertainment they learn to entertain themselves. Lots of encouragement to be on their own and self reliant when it comes to play. I get bored playing too.. and reading stories but there are so many other things you can do.. the 'you play with this for 5 minutes while I hang out washing/wash pots/load/DW' works a treatLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
