HHC turned into 45 minutes as DS wanted to help hoover-he likes pouring the shake n vac on the floor (trouble then is hiding the breadcrumbs later:rotfl: )

Nonetheless, its done and here's my updated list:
Monday Mel!e - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
[strike]Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/strike]

    Level 2
[strike]Dusting, even if around everything [/strike]

[strike]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    [/strike]

Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
[strike]Wash any soft furnishings that need it[/strike]
    Did this yesterday

    Level 3
    [STRIKE]
Open a drawer.. sort the junk within!
    [/STRIKE]
[strike]15 minutes sort of the junk on the landing![/strike]

[strike]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    [/strike]

Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. [strike]Water and wipe any plants[/strike]
    2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
    3. [strike]Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!![/strike]
    4. Clear out the cupboard under the stairs
    Also:
    1. Take DS to feed the ducks. Not able to as it is raining. But I have to ask,DF says you all dont mind going to the park in the rain, is this true?
    2. [strike]Find library books to return on Tuesday.[/strike]
    3. [strike]Find DS red book for doctors appointment on Tuesday.[/strike]
    4. Half hour filing.
    5. Half hour sewing.
    6. Half hour menu planning.
    7. Finish stewing apples.
    8. [strike]15 minutes control journal[/strike].
    9. Make Humous for DF for week at work
    10. Buy wholegrain rice cakes for same. ( remind me he insists wholegrain-Im taking orders now ladies:rotfl:)
I realised just now that Ive never told you, I only have a one bed place-so I guess theres not as much to do as you all have. But I spent a year in a studio (with DF and DS) and things just accumulted and got cluttered and it never got sorted before we moved into the one bed.
And before I came to england I never had to do my own housework.

Still, even this seemed like a mountain until I found this thread and got a clue.

Jo I tried that thread and you are right, the advice in the first post is good-I just couldnt get into the rest as it all sounded more like competition rather than support. Ive found being on this thread is helping too-Pigpens lists keep me busy and you all keep me chatting so Im not really thinking much about it.
Its funny, my chest feels like a helium balloon-I feel like its empty and light-and its only been a day and a half:rotfl:

Boddy Thanks for the pm-will sit down and read it now.
Tag thanks for the round of applause.I can use all I can get-DF thinks joking about how gross it is is helpful! Duh, I know its gross, thats why I want to stop. But when I havent had one in ages and you keep asking whats embarrassed me so much about it that Ive not-you only make me wanna go find another even more! (oops rant over)

:hello: ladies - just having a :coffee: and catching up with the thread. Didn't get on last night as kids needed cuddles so vegged out - still like vegetables - (yeah I watched Pretty Woman too!)

Serena – Good news about your son - looks like he is learning his strategies and using them when things go wrong - so glad he's home safe.

Froddington think I also need to do the extra hour of school stuff - we'll have to ask pigpen to add in a WHP (whole hour prep/planning)

Mine don’t go back until Tues 9th Sept – in Derbyshire Friday 5th has been recommended as an INSET day; at their school they bring Y7, Y10 in on the Monday – the rest on the Tuesday! Roll on half term! So AnW’s mum – you’re not the only one! Where are you?

HollyH – hugs – that’s a mammoth task you’ve got there. Hope you’re getting some support! I'd be round if I was near! Where are you?

Kindlesgirl welcome – 24/7/52! – makes my sat afternoons sound luxurious! They’re gone 11 (ish) until 7 (ish)

Welcome LouiseJ and welcome back Tashja – hope your DB is making good progress

Denise – hope the X ray results are positive!

Polkadot – start simple with those walls – try warm water on a cloth that’s almost squeezed dry – don’t rub, wipe. If that doesn’t work (probably won’t) try the stardrops mix (10% stardrops in water) or washing up liquid mix. Start in the least visible area though.
Good luck with the non smoking! :T

Vanilla – pleased that Bo continues to make good progress.

Flying has been done - thank goodness for stardrops - was 'unwell' after neighbour's barbie sat and have attacked residual on stairs carpet with stardrops with astonishing success! (Sangria, too!):o

    List to follow!

    HHC I did -
[STRIKE] Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Dusting, even if around everything[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Hoover living room/ hallway/stairs/kitchen & d/s toilet[/STRIKE]

Worked up yet another sweat doing that lot. I'm gonna have some lunch and then will be back for another HHC if anyone fancies it after 2.00pm.
Gotta do something with all the stuff that has been moved from downstairs to upstairs. Slowly getting there.

I'll tell what I have noticed though. My old tummy and upper arms (especially the right one) seem to be toning up a bit since I started all this flying. Anyone else finding unexpected additional benefits too?

Well the intentions were all goo dbut DD5 needed a cuddle anda huggle and a snuggle on my knee.. she is now snuggled up on the sofa in her fluffy with her eeyores and her dummy.. I don't care that she is nearly 4!!

I did 3 fairly substantial studio cards roders and have now sorted DD1's christmas presents.. need to get her some clothes and books and sweets but her big stuff is done.. and annuals for everyone and DS games.. and a pig ornament for my sister!.. oh.. bottom.. I have to find something for her new OH as well... That won't be hard.. I'll make him up a hamper I think.. sweets and smellies and a new jumper! He wears the same one ALL the time and I take the pee something chronic.. I'll find him a new one.
