Froddy - lots and lots of hugs for you!0 -
Evening all.
It's just taken me all evening to catch up. I didn't get online much yesterday or today as DS1 has been asserting himself rather a lot and being rather naughty. I seem to have spent most of my time tidying up after him, like my pepper seedling that he pulled out of the pot and put all over my living room and cream leather chair.
johanne hugs and congrats. I wish my child tax credits were that much. It will be quicker now you are in the system - we got Sam registered straight away and were paid in the 1st few weeks, although i am no better off for having the 2 kids compared to 1 and being at work - i may see an improvement next year, but that will pay for the childcare.
frodders chin up. I would talk to your head. After being off that length of time you should be on a return to work programme, and they should have a meeting with you before you start to see if there is anything that can be done to support you and that includes a reduced timetable till you get back on your feet, or not being on the cover list. I did 2 terms before my mat leave where i did no cover whatsoever.
nicki hope DD feels safe soon. That was a horrible shock for her
dusty well done on finishing the decorating
pigpen well done on sorting the uniforms - it helps you have 2 girls to help you i am sure
zed nice to see you back in the fold
polka negative tests - i had 5 in 5 days with DS1. Even the one that i thought said i was pregnant was so pale we had to look at it - each day the line got a bit darker but not really obvious until i got a clear blue one. I thought it was because they were cheap ones off ebay, but used a leftover one when pregnant with DS2 and it went blue immediately.
i'm sure there was more to say but i can't remember now.
I have today:- brought in wheelie bin
- emptied kitchen bin
- washed bathmats and dried on the line
- washed a load of dark kiddies clothes to go on line tomorrow
- done an inventory of freezer - i need to empty and defrost ready for pureeing for DS2
- written a menu plan and shopping list
jobs for the weekend:- HHI x2 at least
- strip beds/wash bedding/remake
- fold my pile of PJs and put away
- empty airers off
- wash at least 1 load of my stuff, 1 of DHs and 1 of kids lights, my dress to wear for next wedding
- boots - get nappies and softwash/teething gel
- food shop
- visit parents - haven't seen for 3.5 weeks due to overlap of our hols
- but a weedkiller and deal with saplings growing under patio
- cut grass on top part of garden
- go to moss bros - DH measured for suit for friends wedding
- pay DH's overtime wages into bank
- bake a load of biscuits
- get some different toys out of loft for DS1, put some of current ones in loft
- wash moses basket covers so that can be put away now
- put bumbo box in loft
- get 2 boxes of DS2s too small stuff packed/sealed in loft
- DH to replace bulb in the outside security light
Also need to talk to sis about a daytrip out with her and her little boy. DH is on about taking a Tue/Wed off work so on the Tue he can finish the gloss painting in the boys new bedroom and deal with any other DIY we spot, and then take the boys out on the Wed. It will hopefully be quieter now the kids are heading back to school.
Right.
Night from me. See you all Sunday night probably - hopefully the site is only down for the 1 day this time. Have a good one all of you.

Just a quick post to say good night and see you Sunday (all being well). I looked at the yahoo thing but they seem to want to know an awful lot to sign up so I didn't bother! Wanted my first born child or something......
Night all0 -
See you all on Sunday, or whenever. Just going to print out my list so I know what I have left to do :rotfl::rotfl: :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Totally agree, but something at the back of my mind always goes .. "but what happens if we get burgled and we need that receipt" or "ooh, is that how much we paid for a tin of beans when we first moved in together ... 14yrs ago" and no, I'm not joking, I have all the receipts.
For receipts (of big items, not groceries) each year I start an envelope - the type that come with the credit card bills:D labelled with the year. It's to hand, and all the receipts go in. I have a separate one for xmas so last year 2007 and Xmas 2007. I hang on to the envelopes for a while ie 1 year (from year end) then when I file 2009 receipts I will shred 2007s.
I have never needed a shredded recipt - but I have needed them from my envelopes.
Hope that helps.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Night Froddy and sleep well.
You do have an awful lot on your plate. Have you been back on the tablets for long enough for them to be working yet? Maybe the dose isn't quite right? I've forgotten how you broke your arm now but it sounds nasty - was it in traumatic circumstances? The end of a relationship is really tough and it will take you time to move on, but you will one day.
Going back to work must feel like a huge step. I am afraid I have no idea how much planning you need to do but hope your school can support you. Are you primary? Ours work as a team which must reduce the stress a bit. It sounds like going back is the right thing but maybe not full time straight away - would it be possible to go back slowly?
Right kids home, they were really tired but all in bed and asleep now. Just going to catch up on the BB eviction and then head off to bed.
I'll try Yahoo again tomorrow but if not I'll catch you all when the site is back up.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
