I love my job - though it seems strange to be going back after so long off. I really do believe that I need to go back to some normality and would be looking forward to it if I'd done all the paperwork! There are other reasons why I feel like this - here's a shortened version!
I'm on fluoxitine (for the 2nd time) because I was getting really down being at home and not being able to do much (for those who don't know, I seriously broke my arm and had to have 2 metal plates put in) After 4 months, it's still sore and aching and not right. I have had times of feeling really down in the past but this was getting too much and I recognised the signs from last time I had the tablets and went to doc. Then my bf of just over a year spent the weekend with me (8 weeks ago) before announcing on the Sunday afternoon it was over! I didn't see that coming and haven't heard anything from him since. I was just about coming to terms with that when I found out in the week that he is seeing someone else and that's the reason why he left. This has knocked me back and I am sooo cross because I was just getting back on track and I'm angry with myself for letting him get to me.
Well that's the gist of it anyway - thank you to everyone for your kind words. I know I will get through this - it just doesn't feel like it at the moment! I'm so tired too - mainly because I haven't had a proper night's sleep in 4 months due to my arm - and that doesn't help! Maybe your work is what you need to get you back in a routine and take your mind off him a bit. I know its hard to go back after a long spell (done that myself before) but the first day is the worst - are you in touch with any of the people you work with - could you speak to them and see how organised they are - maybe they are just the same - perhaps you could have an afternoon with one of them and get organised together??
Are you still getting treatment for your arm - if its still not right perhaps you should see your gp/physio. there is nothing worse than not getting proper sleep because of pain. Try not to sleep on the sofa -is it the painkillers that makes you nod off -
I know its not easy = it all got the better of me today but thanks to the lovely ladies here I am feeling better and will go to bed a bit more in control. sorry to be preaching and i hope you fell stronger soon - you can do it.:A

Toots - thank you!
I know he's not worth it but I still miss him!
I am still having treatment for my arm - GP, physio and fracture clinic! It was a very bad injury and treatment is likely to go on for a while and I've been warned I will feel the effects for at least a year! I have 'functional' movement now but no-one knows whether I'll get full movment back. The painkillers don't make me sleepy - it's just the lack of a good night's sleep and the depression (not much then!)
I'm glad you're feeling more positive - I know I need to do this for me and I will. It's just so annoying that I thought I was back on track and have now been knocked back again.
