  • I just rang up this morning thinking that it sounded like a good deal! But then to find out it was working from home which wasnt mentioned in the job description at the job centre..i deffo wont be applying for it..sounds right dodgy!!
  • Is anyone else concerned that they have your details from your CV? I don't know whether to email them and tell them that I am not interested..or just not do anything?
  • Hi
Just to let you know that my friend has nothing to do with this company,
I have looked at the company you are talking about nethomeworkers.
I have spoken to nethomeworkers. They are a legitimate Company. They are registered at Companies House (which are an UK Company registering Companies in the UK).
Also they have been checked out by Tradin Standards, Jobcebtres, Courts & Judges and they have all accepted that this Company is Legitimate and doing nothing wrong.
  • Also I have spoken to Ian Johnson @ nethomeworkers and he has said that he has contacted Martin & the abuse team to take this posting down as this is slandering his Company.
If there is anymore slander against his Company he will be taking all of you who have slandered his name & Martin's Company to court.
  • This was listed on the Reed website under almost every town you could think of. I applied and recieved the same e-mail as others to ring the number and quote data input Kevin Clark. When i rang i was put on hold and was number 24 in the queue. I got to position 21 and then panicked that it perhaps was a scan and i was getting charged about a tenner a minute. Although the phoneline wasnt premium i noticed while i was on that all the ads had been pulled from the Reed website so i just hung up. A week or so later they e-mailed me at a really random time so i thought i'd give them another ring and this time was number one in the queue so i waited and some bloke answered and told me 'Kevin' was in a meeting and that i should goto the website etc. etc. as others on this thread were told. He did say that they have some office jobs in some places but if not they have home work!! Yeah right!! As soon as i saw about paying them i left the site. What worries me though is how i was 24 in the queue that day, odds are that a few of them at least will have fallen for it :(
  • I phoned up about the job and emailed my c.v to them a month ago, apparently in offices, not work at home. I recieved this reply today

    "HI
Thank you for your application for the position of DATA INPUT CLERKS.
You have been selected for the position & I would like to speak with you to discuss this vacancy in more detail.

PLEASE CONTACT MY OFFICE ON 0844 8246612 (LOCAL CALL) & QUOTE "DATA INPUT KEVIN CLARK".

THE WORK WILL BE LOCATED IN YOUR LOCAL CITY CENTRE.

PLEASE RING ASAP AS THE POSITION STARTS IMMEDIATELY.

    Kind regards

    KEVIN CLARK
    KC Computer Services"
I've been waiting over a year now to be successful in getting a job, and obviously got excited to hear from them. Then I calmed down, and realised that they didn't even mention my name, nor my city or address of offices, nor the times of work in their reply. Anywhoo, I'm going to phone them tomorrow and see what they say.

I have spoken to KC Computer Services about the que & they have said they had to put the que on because it would be engaged all the time and people would think there was a fault on the line.

The 0844 number is a local call rate and you are charged 5p a minute during the day & 2p a minute after 6pm weekdays and 2p a minute all day at weekends (checked with BT).

Also I have said in my last reply they are an legitimate company and they have been checked out by all authorities abd have been accepted.
When you get on Nethomeworkers if the office positions have gone the fee you pay is for the training package (as you will be self-employed) & you get this straight back from their 2 Financial Clients (which I did).
You can do the work while you are waiting to go into the office positions if they have gone. I am earning approx £300 per week.:T
  • Smells of a scam to me.....oh and please don't sue me for giving my opinion
    Neil
  • it IS a scam....i contacted the police and they are investigating ...BT will not cut off line as police want to trace it for longer...it is not registered with trading standards or companies house ( KC computers only registered company is in st leonards) DO NOT SEND MONEY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES......

what rubbish, at least get your facts right, it isn't slander, as its in writing it's libel. as for suing me,try it, the only info held by this website about me is a disposable e-mail addy. :rotfl:

no, you said nethomeworkers are a legitimate company. i can't find kc registered at companies house..they are not legitimate.
    1. the website is registered to a non trading indiviual.
    2. the website is breaking the law by not having the correct contact information on it.
    3. again , why does a legitimate company want uncrossed postal orders??...that can be cashed at any post office and not have to go through a bank account?.
