I rang the local Jobcentre to complain about this, as they clearly are not vetting adverts properly. Just received a call back - all K C Computer's adverts have been pulled and they are under investigation. £9.20 an hour for Data Entry 'in your local town' did seem rather too good to be true.
Result. Hopefully a hefty penalty is coming their way.0 -
My story is the exactly the same as AVFC. Rang them up yeasterday after I recieved one of those emails and they told me to go to their website and follow the procedure.
Sent them an email back telling them that I was not interested anymore.

I found the same job ads as described on this thread they are advertising for Pontefract, London, Sheffield, Harrogate, Selby etc. I thought there was something dodgy about the set up. I did the same sent C.V. got an email asking me to ring same number but the answer machine says that they can't take any calls till 12th Septemeber because of holiday breaks!!!! I would have never sent any money to anyone as no one who wants to give you employment would ask for money!!!!!0

considering she's posted the same request on a number of threads, and is supporting a known scam site, i'd say yes0 -
Hi
I got an email from a bloke called Ian Johnson who wanted me to post a uncrossed postal order of £25 to him in tyne and wear and said our new website is http://www.nethomeworkers.co.uk/.
question 4.
Why would a genuine company ask for uncrossed postal orders??....
Why don't they want them crossed and made payable to nethomeworkers?
Because they turn it into untraceable hard cash at any post office.0
