  • Hi Penguin

I am the same as you and the others with regards to having a ppor few months. Started with small overspends that didnt seem to make a difference which grewand now I have a £1k overdraft . Good luck with the weight loss and be brave to look at those finances. I actually feel better after I do it but still put it off!

Morning all - KP, I think that everyone has suffered from a summer 'lull' and are now paying for it!

Well weighed myself last night and that was just as scary as looking at the finances but day one of diet today - wish me luck!

Have just looked at my online banking and I have a charge of £6.95 going out on the 30th of each month. I have never been overdrawn and its only a Natwest Step account so no idea what the charge is - will be making a visit to the bank on my lunch to find out!

    Have a great day everyone - see y'all later x x x x

I didnt get chance to have a lunch yesterday so I am going into the bank today.

Had an email from a survey site to say they sent a voucher twice and can I post it back to them at an address in Belgium at my expense! Great isnt it - the voucher is only for £4.

Off to work now - no rest for the wicked! See you all later x x

  • Snap except my DS was due to start year 1 today but OH got the days wrong. Im expecting the its boring bit though which is what I got from DD1. Dont they grow up so fast?

I agree about the vouchers sending them back for £4 at your cost is very miserly.

Im sending them an email back to say that I will send the voucher back to them as soon as they send me a pre paid envelope! It would be bad enough to a British address but I dont even know how much it would cost to post to Belgium!

Having a much better week in work this week and not feeling so down about it at the mo - that will change by next week though I'm sure!

KP and Mumtoone - my DD is also going into Year 1 - lots of 02/03 babies here then. She can't wait to go back but give it a week and she will be hating it again! DS starts school in a year so have to apply for his school by December, going to get it done straight away though because the school we want for him is really over subscribed.

Taxi - hope your back is better today

OH is off tonight as he has a chest infection and feels generally rough.

Will have to have a nose at the finances and work out whats due to be paid next! x x

  • Hi hope your OH feels better soon. I think some of the natwest accounts charge for an overdraft facility even if you don't use it..although i am not sure on that one.

Glad you are having a better week at work.x
