Thanks BOB, will be looking over the proposed statement tomorrow just to double check we are happy with everything and will then get it signed and handed in before they change their mind!
Its amazing how much the money adds up, I always knew how much we spent but seeing it in cash is completely different. I have a vets bill of 200.00 to pay so I will soon have the money to pay for that without any great panic with the budget. After that I am going to keep putting the 10 a day away until I have enough to pay off Capital One (700.00) and that will be separate to my planned overpayments if that makes sense. x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

If it makes sense to you it makes sense!
They shouldn't change their mind now, just make sure everything is in place and constantly check it...never does any harm to keep them on their toes.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Great news about the no smoking, and the saveing of the money, vet bills, they add up quick....... think its Aug we jump back on the vets roundabout, after loseing Whisky, were haveing a black + white springer pup, dd named him Bailey. She originally wanted 4 dogs, Bailey, Vodka, Brandy and Coke...... at £300 per dog, (one breeder we spoke to her dogs were £500), shes settled for one, he comes to us start of Aug.
Well done on the extra payments, ur an inspiration xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks BOB and Taxi, I am sooo pleased about his statement I cant even begin to describe the relief! New thing to stress about now is the transition between nursery and school!
Mum, thats a great name DD has picked for the dog and I at that price I dont blame you to limiting it to one!
Had a pretty quiet weekend doing lots of housework (well a bit) and studying (again a bit) and playing on my new wii and wii fit. OH got it for me as a surprise christmas present for last year - we had agreed not to do presents but he saved up forever and bought it for me - hoping it will help with the exercise and to boost the weightloss, it is a second hand one off ebay but I dont care, it all works and its a hell of a lot cheaper than a new one!
I have my lastest assignment back at 70% for the third time in a row, my results have been 84, 68, 70, 70 and 70 at least I am consistant! Going to try extra hard for my next assignment due in 2 weeks to try and get a different mark.
Debt wise our month starts again on Tues, need to work things out but should have enough to make an overpayment to Cap One, will work on that later.
Will update on money and the 101 challenge tomorrow as I am off to work out then study and then bed.
See you all soon x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Evening/Morning everyone, thanks for the encouragement re the smoking, today was the 1 month anniversary of quitting for both of us which is a big psychological hurdle for us I think.
Debt busting in full force this month as I have 700.00 ish on an interest bearing card so it makes sense to focus on this rather than the debts that are with debt collectors and therefore interest free. Hoping to have it cleared within 2 months but Aug is usually pretty expensive with DD being off school so we will see!
Next on my 101 list is learning to drive - lessons were my 17th birthday present 8 years ago and mum reminded me a few months ago that the offer still stands. I have applied for my provisional online so thats the first step done, now just need to take the leap and book some lessons - I am nervy enough as a passenger and cant imagine ever being brave enough to actually drive a car on a road - eek!!!
I have been ill for the last couple of days with some horrible stomach bug, loads off in work with swine flu but luckily I havent developed any symptoms apart from being sick so must just be a bug. I am going to go into work tomorrow anyway.
I have an assignment due on Friday that I need to finish off and we have to take DS to see his new school on Friday lunchtime while there is no kids around so have managed to get a couple of hours off work to take him. So hope that it all goes well for him so nervous about how he will react.
Not much more to report at the minute, was supposed to be giving blood today and was gutted I couldnt because of my stomach bug but I would have probably passed out and I doubt they would have let me anyway. There is another session on Monday although I am in work so it will probably have to be at the beginning of August now
Hope everyone is well off to bed starting to feel a bit dodgy again! x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
