Evening everyone, have been having a bit of a catch up with everyones diaries tonight, apologies if I have missed anyone!

Mum, it was just the openings course Y166 that I have had the results for but its 10 points out of the way only about another million to go!

I am currently halfway through W100 which will finish around Oct and then I am starting W221 in Sept - employment law and then W200 in Feb 2010 so they will cross over a little bit but not too much hopefully.

Have had a semi productive weekend, little bit of studying, little bit of housework and lots of playing with the kids - much more fun! So not a huge amount done but better than nothing. DD went to see Lazytown with my mum and dad yesterday and came back with a Stephanie wig, a light up windmill thing and a toy for DS, god knows how much they spent those places arent cheap!

I have 2 days off work this week and I am going to the Cheshire Show with OH we go every year used to go for one day but I like to spend time admiring the horses and he likes to wander round so we go both days now, shouldnt spend too much though as long as I am not tempted to buy a new rug for the horse - will be leaving my bank card safely at home.

I have my stop smoking appointment tomorrow, looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. I'll let you know how it goes anyway and fingers crossed this time it will be for real!

Hope everyone is well, not much debtbusting news I'm afraid, not heard anything back from CSL yet but only 425.00 to go to get below 30k so not long now x x x x

I've got my eye on the employment law, but am debating whether I should do W200 first, got my mark 2ngt from tma 79%, my tutor is brilliant, only sent it last ngt.

Good luck at cheshire horse show, love horses, promised dd I'll take her to the shirehorse centre at cotebrook ova the school hols. xx

Good luck with the appointment, hopefully they will be motivating and give you lots of tips. I gave up years ago after reading the Alan Carr book (not the comedian) and visualising things helped me - that and thinking about how much money I was saving...

Digressing, but thank you, had visions of it being the comedian Alan Carr, and could not figure him telling u to give up smoking!! U have saved looking a fool..... xx

We went to Cotebrook last year just me and OH, decided to go for a drive out one day and knowing OH loves Shires thought that it would be something we both enjoyed. Had a lovely time, it is a beautiful place your DD will love it. We are hoping to take my daughter over the hols too.

There is a lovely pub next door as well that we had lunch in. The Cotebrook horses are usually at the Cheshire show too.

Have you been to the Cheshire Show before - its a great day out for all the family and I can definitely recommend it - heres the website incase you are interested

The Employment course starts before the W200 although they will overlap but I hoping it will be an ok way round to do it and I dont end up confusing myself!

Hope the non smoking appt is informative and gets you on the right track. I stopped with the Allen Carr method years ago, unfortunately it doesn't work the second time around :(

I'm just below the 30k mark so I guess I'll be hanging around here with you for a while, best get the jaffa cakes stocked up and throw the ashtrays out then.

    Good luck for tomorrow.
The horse show sounds lovely and just what you and your DH need a bit of relaxation time.

Hi DC, I have chocolate fingers and ashtrays are firmly hidden - so that'll keep us going!

Appointment tonight was really good, she gave us loads of info but wasnt preachy in any way and let us decide what method we wanted to use to quit. We have both gone for the inhalator, I think that will be good for me as it will give me something to do with my hands. We have got a weeks worth and have another appt next week to see how we are doing. Feeling very positive about it but it has only been 7 hours so far so tomorrow will be the big test, have stocked up on oranges and lollipops.

Have done loads of housework tonight though so thats a good side effect!

    See you all later x x x

Morning, its been 16 hours now, really missing my morning ciggie but at least the inhalator is something I can inhale on! First full day today and we will be out so it will be hard but the first 48 hours are supposed to be the hardest I think! x x
