    Hi penguin
Quite fancy the cod with indian potato....
Re toad in the hole, in anything thats oven proof will do, roasting tray, pyrex dish. Shape doesn't really matter.

    How's the stopping going ?

    Evening all!

Thanks DC - I have a small roasting tin so hopefully that will be suitable? I have some cod in the freezer so will be attempting 2 new recipes this week! Getting a bit adventurous now. :rotfl:

Good news - I have been to a local NHS clinic close to work and made an appointment with the stop smoking man **official title** for the 22 June, have to keep a diary for a couple of days to say what time I smoked, why and how did it make me feel, actually looking forward to it and even better news OH wants to make an appt too so have left him the number to phone tomorrow. :j will be so much easier if he does it at the same time to keep temptation out the way.

I have also booked an appt (22 July) to give blood for the first time ever, its something I have been meaning to do for ages but never got round to but as it is number 40 on my 101 list I've got to do it!

Have also paid another 58.00 from HSBC so total is now 200.00 left (I think I could have paid the lot off but waiting till next Tues when our month starts again in case I have forgotten something vital):T

So not to bad a day in all - just need to keep fingers crossed for Weds weigh in now - off to update sig x x x x

Small roasting tin sounds fine, good luck with your toad :)

Smoking - will follow with interest, glad you have got the OH involved. Can only help the cause. And giving blood - I am truly impressed, very selfless.

Thing is penguin I think all these little things make the big things happen. Think your 101 list is a brilliant motivator. Perhaps I should consider it....

    Thanks you two!

Mum - the debt and the weight are going well but there is still a lot that I need to change/work on - the house is still a tip I cannot get on top of the housework, OH and I have barely had a conversation for ages as we are at work at different times and I am knackered :rotfl::D but I know its worth it for the end result so not complaining! How is your DD now? Im just off to your diary for a catch up.

DC - OH has made his appt today for the same time as mine so he is serious about it which is great, really hoping we can work together on this (although we may end up killing each other instead ) The 101 is a great thing to do, it took me a while to do my list but I looked at other peoples for inspiration and managed to think of a loads some big (become debt free) and some little (take own bags when food shopping)

There is a thread here in the arms and the main website is here - go for it!

Not much exciting to report today, been to work which was eventful to say the least but I am off work tomorrow, have my weigh in and then out for lunch with mum, dad and OH which I am really looking forward to as we are very rarely off together at the same time.

    Hope everyone is well x x x

Thanks Luc - she is doing really well at the minute - she is like a grumpy old lady, she goes out for a few hours for a roll and a wander and is then by the gate waiting to come in for her tea and a cosy bed, she has not been out at night since last summer and she seems to be doing a lot better having her nights in. x x

My old boy had stopped having breakfast and is out all the time. He is loving the grass a bit too much.

Bless him Lucielle, glad he is enjoying his new home!

Had a nice day off work today went out for lunch with mum, dad and OH which was lovely and relaxing and I lost 2lbs at Slimming this morning so total weight loss is now 3st 6lbs, going to try really hard this week to lose 1lb for next Weds so I can get my 3 1/2 stone award, fingers crossed.

DD is staying at mum and dads tonight as we have the psychologist in the morning for DS so they are taking her to school for us so that we can both attend.

Thats pretty much it for today, I really, really have to do some housework tonight and some studying but suspect that I will be on here for a bit longer yet, if you see me on here kick me off! xx

    Oi! Penguin! Gerrof!!!

LOL - you're doing great with both the debt busting and the weight loss. Toad in the hole is great and relatively simple - the key is to get the fat in the tin really hot before you add the sausages & batter...oh, and to not be tempted to open the oven door on it in the first 15 minutes of cooking! Brown the sausages off well beforehand and you'll be fine.
