Thanks all - I am really going to need help with the quitting, come to conclusion that I cant do it alone. I am all full of resolve for about 12 hours and then I think jsut 1 more and then get all annoyed with myself - sooo frustrating - why I am finding this so hard, thousands of people manage to quit, think I need a trip to the chemist to see what they suggest!

Anyways not much to report, with the bank holiday nothing going in or out of accounts at the moment but OH has worked very hard this weekend and we have 300.00 in the house - 80.00 for settle, 120.00 for nursery and 100.00 to the debts, he is still out now so hopefully will have a bit more to add to that from tonight although he said it has been dead.

Have a day off work tomorrow as its the queens birthday so I am taking DD to the safari park with OH, DS is in nursery and dad is picking him up tomorrow so we dont have to rush back. Feel mean going for a day out without him but he hates being out of his routine and we always have to cut short days out as he doesnt like them and panics and wants to get home which isnt fair on DD - I think she deserves some time on her own as well.

Should be pretty cheap as we have a kids go free voucher and Mum and dad have given DD £20 for ice creams (this is their way of giving us money towards the day out as they know we wouldnt accept it off them otherwise!)

Hope everyone is well x x

Have a lovely day and don't feel bad about not taking DS as your DD would love to spend time with you and he doesn't like the change in routine. What a lovely mum and dad you have.

Thanks Taxi - it makes much more sense, he gets to go to nursery as he is expecting and DD will get the whole day with us doing what she wants to do but I cant help feeling gulity! Its silly of me really though, we dragged him to Blackpool to see the lights last year and he hated the whole journey there and then didnt like the noise or the crowds so we had to come home and poor DD had been as good as gold - that was when we realised it wasnt fair on either of them it just feels wrong!

I know how lucky I am with mum and dad (and they are the same with my brother too), it still bothers me a bit as they never had spare cash when we were growing up - their argument is that they can afford it now that their kids have grown up and their mortgage is paid off and dad has retired but they couldnt when we were little much in the same way that we cant afford it now but will hopefully be able to with our grandchildren in the future.

They dont drive so whenever OH gives them a lift if they are going out for the night they insist on paying him as they are taking him away from work - OH goes straight back and posts it through their letterbox as he wouldnt dream of charging but Dad cant be argued with! x x

    Afternoon!!

Gorgeous day today, hoping to get plenty of washing dry today and tomorrow, although that will make a big ironing pile.

Had an amazing day with DD on Tuesday and she loved it, she got our undivided attention and got to do what she wanted for a change (within reason!) made a really nice change to have a relaxed, stress free day.

DS's statement is progressing, we have an appointment with the ed psych on 11 June and 23rd June, Speech Therapist on the 01st July and Paed on 06 July and all reports have to be in (including ours) on 10 July. I have also had to moniter DD's fluid intake and urine output for 3 days so need to write that up and hand it in to the kidney specialist and then wait for her scan date - fingers crossed for that.

Work has been mad busy as we were shut Monday and Tuesday but I have 4 whole days off next week and I cannot wait, just hope that the weather holds. DD has a school trip on Tuesday so hope it is a nice day for that.

Busy month coming up with all DS's appointments and maybe DD's too, also have an assignment due in on the 26th and OH's birthday on the 27th although it is a Saturday and there is no way OH would miss a Saturday night at work.

Cup final today, fingers crossed for Everton!

    Have a great day everyone x x x x

Good and bad tbh Luc - I have come to the conclusion that I can't do it on my own so I am off to the chemist on Monday during my lunch to see what they suggest but I have over the last week or so cut down from 15-20 a day to 3-5 a day, I just can't seem to stop those last few! I am down to 2 packs a week from between 5-7 which moneywise is saving up to 25.00 a week already but healthwise its not good. x x

I think even healthwise that's a big improvement! obviously none at all would be better but surely 3-5 is going to be better for your health.
I think some docs do clinics so it might be a cheaper option to get something on prescription rather than just going to the chemist. Not sure how much these things cost though so maybe not. Good luck!
