Morning all - meeting went well, paperwork was signed and delivered (by me!) to the LEA so I definitely know that they have got it. Still not convinced that it will be sorted by the time he is due to start school in September but at least I know now that he can stay on at the nursery if necessary which is a relief.
Have a massive to do list today that I dont want to do because the sun is shining outside - any excuses! Our month starts on Tuesday and I need to do a budget and the ironing pile now threatens to overshadow Everest and I have an assignment due in on Friday.
The money that I thought I had left in my bank account is actually the council tax that goes out on Monday and not because of my excellent budgetting!
So here goes list :-
1- Tidy and clean living room, kitchen and hall (dining room and study need a day to themselves so skipping them for today!)
2- Hoover stairs and landing
3- Tidy/Clean bathroom
4- Budget for Apr/May
5- Work on assignment and continue with note making
6- AT LEAST 1 hours ironing inc actually putting the clothes away once ironed so that its not a job wasted when everything ends up creased again!
7- 3 loads of washing and out to dry ( one already done)
That'll do for now, kids will be 'helping' and then we can go to the park later if the weather stays nice.
Hope everyone is well, off to do some much needed housework now! x xxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Evening all - havent updated here for ages! Work been busy and I have been on the FlyLady thread this week as the poor house is in serious need of attention.
News
- vet came to give horse check up and she is discharged for now - will have another check up in the winter to see if she needs any help re arthiritis
- had an appt through for DD kidney specialist, she has been getting back pain and although she was discharged from her specialist 4 years ago I am worried there is something wrong again - its on May 5 so fingers crossed.
- No more news from LEA about DS statement but a bit early yet
- Our month started on Tuesday and I havent done budget yet so that needs to be a priority for tomorrow especially as the vets bill hasnt come in yet
- I am going to see Pink on Tuesday and have 3 days off work next week so v excited
- Lost 1lb a SW but put 2lbs on easter week so total weight loss 3 stone 1lb at the moment.
- About a week behind on OU study so need to catch up will be doing it during my lunchtimes at work but assignment submitted 24 hours early this week which for me is a miracle.
I think thats about it. I am absolutely exhausted this week but have been on the go constantly
Hope everyone is well and I promise to do the budget tomorrow! x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Thanks Skint - I went this week and it was amazing, best concert I have been too in ages and brill seats too off to see girls aloud in 2 weeks too! Sounds like I have a social life all of a sudden although tickets were presents so very MSE!
Hi to everyone - been lurking this week as I have felt a bit low for no apparant reason - have had 3 days off work and been out so should be feeling full of life but exact opposite. Wierd!
Anyway decided today to stop moping round so have worked out our budget which isnt too bad, in the process of updating snowball and will then update sig which has been woefully neglected. Going to have a blitz round the house, do some OU study and then watch a bit of TV before bed - lovely!
So quick update
-Debt - no overpayments recently unfortunately but all up to date
- House - reasonable after I blitzed it for mum and dad coming round but only because I shoved everything in cupboards and drawers so still with the FlyLady thread.
- OU work - up to date havent had latest assignment results back yet so feeling a bit nervous next one due in 3 weeks.
- Work - not too bad, 3 days off this week, 2 next week so all good. Also recd £100 bonus which is nice in next months pay
- Weight - really annoyed as gained 1lb this week for no apparant reason but wasnt expecting to lose 1lb the week before so probably evened out over the 2 weeks - total weight loss 3 Stone
- Kids - LEA have confirmed they will proceed with an assessment so have had his parental assessment through to complete which looks horrendous - has anyone filled one of these in before? DD has her appt with the kidney specialist on Tues fingers crossed everything is ok.
- Horse - all good, had booster jabs, feet trimmed and wormed and all ready for the summer fields to open fingers crossed tomorrow, still havent had her bill through from the vet
Think thats everything but have no doubt forgotton something v important! Off to catch up on everyones threads in one big mammoth session! x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Sorry to hear that you've felt a bit low...hope you feel better soon..you've had loads on your plate recently you are bound to feel low sometimes.
Hope the hospital appointment for DD goes well and that DSs statement doesn't take too long.
You cope really well with everything that is thrown at you...you work,do an ou course care for two poorly kiddies,a horse and a hubby as well as housework and shopping etc.
You are doing amazingly well at dieting and debtbusting...I don't know how you do it all...xxxx0 -
Thanks Taxi - there is no reason for it that I can think of - nothing has changed, hoping it is just hormonal or may be because I am off work and out my routine.
Diet has been going well trying new recipes which have worked, I never ever cooked so its all a bit of a novelty at the moment but I am enjoying it.
I really want to work on quitting smoking as I know this is sapping energy levels (and money!) that will be a massive challenge and scared I will eat more to compensate - look Im already trying to talk myself out of it!
Its weird but I need to keep busy to keep going if that makes sense - the less I have to do the slower I go - I thrive on pressure but probably not good for my blood pressure x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
