You sound just like my sister:rotfl: :rotfl: she adored her horse and her animals..:rotfl: She has pet lizards at the moment and adores them the same and her parrots..

I am going to give it to her early - its getting cold enough now! It should be here next week so will wrap her up warm.

Had a worm count done on her by her vets and I got the results back today - 2000 which is dangerously high, she was only wormed 4 weeks ago and follows a regular worming programme so going to worm her again tomorrow and then get her rechecked in a couple of weeks. Vet said older horses can become resistant to wormer over time. Just have to keep an eye on her. It will explain why it is so hard to get weight on her though.

Havent done much today havent been able to get warm even with the fire on hope Im not coming down with something. x x

Thats interesting news re worms. Maybe something I should look into for my boy. He is holding his own with regards to weight, just lack of teeth for hay!

Hi all!

Wol - nice to see you hope you are ok. I am having a big catch up tonight with all the diaries! I will get my mares report out and let you know what it said. I rewormed her 2 days ago with a broad spectrum wormer and they are going to repeat the test in 2 weeks to see if it has any effect.

Not much news to report. Getting paid on Friday but no debt overpayments until I have finished for christmas or I will end up overpaying and having no money left!

Had my third weigh in this morning and I have lost 5lbs so it is going well at the minute - hope I can keep it up but in the past I have always managed to sabotage myself! Positive thinking this time though.

Hope everyone is ok - off for a catch up now.

PS DD is going to be Mary in this years play - cant wait! x x

Fantastic weight loss Pingu, bad news about the worms though.

I used to hate worming my stroppy pony, over the years, I'm sure I ingested far more than he did. _pale_
