Evening all! Still poorly but getting better - had a reaction to the antibiotics I had been prescribed so ended up back at hosp for anti histamines - what fun!

Have been doing a bit of shopping today online for christmas (via Quidco - thanks Taxi!) so moving on a little bit with that but still loads to do. No time off work now until Christmas Eve so will be fitting it in around lunchtimes (weekends are out as I have the kids and christmas shopping with them in tow would not be fun!)

Boiler seems to have died a death it is working in fits and starts at the moment so have someone coming to look at it on Monday (free callout) hopefully it is fixable rather than having to get a new one.

Apart from that nothing exciting at the minute, no more debt overpayments made yet but normal payments all made.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. xx

Ohh dear..hope you get better soon.
If you're boiler is expensive to fix I think British gas will fix it for you on a conract but it's slightly dearer than the normal one. That's what I did 5 years ago when I moved in here..I rang them to ask about them fixing it for a price and they said why not put it on a plan.I have kept the contract up ever since and it's been a god send especially as my boiler is getting old.
    Hope that helps you.

Its completely died now Lucielle - it is absolutely freezing in here! I have the fire on in the living room and that is the only source of heat in the whole house - DS wont wear pjs so we are all going to sleep in one bed tonight (OH at work all night). The big problem is we have no hot water so no baths for me or the kids. Luckily we had one on Friday night so not too bad but feel a right minger now!

Man is coming to look at the boiler tomorrow. Hope to god that it is a part that can be replaced and not the whole thing as that will mean borrowing money off parents which they then wont let me pay back and that will make me feel crap - I know I am really lucky to have parents that are this nice and I dont know why it makes me feel bad but hey ho!

Horse is doing really well considering. She is managing to hold her weight pretty well but her back legs have come up like balloons because I havent been able to turn her out in this cold weather (she refuses to go through the gate!) so she has been having walks instead.

DD lost her first tooth tonight so have been hunting for a shiny coin from the tooth fairy. So cute, she was so excited! x x
