Evening all - jealous of all this talk of exotic holidays - most exotic place Ive ever been to is Wales I think! :rotfl:

Diet has been going well (i think!). Making some sort of tomatoey/sausagey casserole for tea with loads of broccoli.

Will be finishing the kitchen off tonight too so that will be all sparkly - ready for the dining room to be tackled and then that is the downstairs finished by next week hopefully - yeay!

Need to work out finances as I seem to have more in the bank than I should and my christmas savings pays out next week (800). Not going to go mad though because OH work has been awful this past week and last night was terrible. He is going out earlier and finishing later just to make the money.

Good news though is that the mortgage payment has dropped 140.00 a month and is now less than 800 pm (at one point it was touching 1100) so that is really good. I am going to overpay debts with the extra and that will make a big difference to MBNA.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend - off to catch up on some diaries x x x

    Xmas Saver!
That is brilliant news about the mortgage going down, at the rate your going ur MBNA card will be running away from you, with all the extra payments.

Thats sods law re work 4 OH, think mid Nov hits people and they panic and stay in saving the money.

Is it get the roller skates on with the xmas shopping, b4 the money trickles to the debts.

The next money saving task is renew my car ins, had a quote for £211, shouldnt complain, its only up £5.00 from last yr......but must look around.

How was the sausage and tomato casserole thing with the brocolli, I had to cheat with dd and blend some extra veg in!
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hope MBNA is gone soon. I have been looking at the snowball today and we have 10k left to pay with 4 different creditors and then we will be down to our last creditor HSBC (although we owe them 23k) it doesnt sound so bad then! So I am challenging myself to have paid off that 10k by Christmas 2009 which is roughly £25.00 a day. So I have made myself a little chart of squares each one representing 25.00 and will colour one in each day when I have paid my 25.00. If that makes any sense! Have just made my first 25.00 payment to MBNA so we are on our way!

Hi Jack - havent seen you for ages, hows life at the night owls? Thanks for the encouragement too. x x

It doesnt seem too bad at £25.00 a day and hopefully I can keep it up Taxi. I'm starting to get a bit worried about the beginning of next year with OH earnings but I suppose we will have to cross that bridge later.

As its gone midnight Ive made todays £25.00 payment too! x x
