Thanks Skint and Bob - they drained the abscess in his face although it is still swollen and removed a tooth that he cracked a year or so ago to do everything in one go. The hospital were brilliant and let him go in first as he went into complete shut down mode and was getting distressed. Poor little lamb! My dad bought him some new dinosaurs for being so brave! x x

Thanks Lunar - how are you doing?

Will be putting finishing touches to the hall tomorrow so that it is all sparkly again and that is 2 rooms out of 9 done. Next week is the kitchen which shouldnt take too long.

Now that I am back at SW I have been doing more cooking than I have ever done and its knackering! Suppose it will get easier as my cooking skills improve (chopping an onion now only takes seconds!)

Havent looked at finances for the last couple of days as all the direct debits have gone but now that the strike is off on Monday that means I wont be losing any money this month. My christmas savings with work pays out this month as well which is 800.00 and whatever is left of that will go off MBNA card. My next instalment for the OU is due in December which is 800 but my parents have said they will pay that as they would have paid if I had gone to uni at 18 if that makes sense!

    Evening all.

Thanks Taxi - he is pretty much back to normal now, still a bit swollen but nowhere near what it was like.

Not much to report - had a quiet weekend - too quiet in fact and have got loads to do tonight now! One of these days I will manage to be more organised. Made a few overpayments on debts so will need to update totals in my sig. SW going well but need more shopping tomorrow, it costing me a fortune in food now - esp meat!

    List for tonight :

Get stuff ready for work tomorrow
Get DS and DD stuff ready for school/nursery
    More OU work
Spend 1/2 hour on the kitchen
Make some sort of meal involving chicken and veg for tea
    Bath

Doesnt seem too bad if I get started now - kids have been to parents for tea and they will be back in a minute so better make some sort of effort!

See you all later, hope everyone has had a nice weekend. x x
