Is it tonight you join SW?
  • I have a cunning plan for all of that, write each item on a turnip, when completed you may cut and dice turnip for slimming world alternative chips..if it is a manky turnip you can lob it...see works on all fronts, is healthy and you get lobbing excercise:D :rotfl:
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Ooh I like the cunning plan Bob, although I fear the turnips would have withered away before the jobs are complete!

Lucielle - the hall is somehow looking worse than ever! I moved all of the stuff out of the dining room and study that belongs upstairs so there is lots now to be moved - but it wont take long because it is all bagged/boxed and labelled and all that exercise with lugging it upstairs must be good!

Taxi - I join SW on Wednesday so have been eating lots today to try and make some space for healthier stuff. How are you getting on with SW?

Have been to work today which was mad busy but at least it makes the day go quicker. I am planning on doing an hour of housework once the kids are asleep and then some OU work - best laid plans and all that!

Hope everyone has had a good day. How are the horses with this cold weather Lucielle. My mare has an extra stable rug on now its got so cold.

Old boy not too good think his arthritis is playing him, certainly doesn't look happy. Took his new turn out rug up with detachable neck so he should be nice and snuggly. He has also got a new stable rug with a 'neck' in. My boy is fine, still got his fat boy girth on so a bit longer without a rug methinks.

Well all - Im back from SW  It was good and I went to a different class than the when I did it last year. Then went food shopping and spent a fortune stocking on meat, veg, fruit etc but its all in now. May post my food diary here each day so all you eagle eyed SW people can pull me up if Im going wrong!

Lunch - chicken in a tomato sauce (chicken skinless and grilled, sauce - tinned toms, onions, herbs) and veg (boiled).

Tea - gammon (grilled) with stir fried veg (one squirt of fry light - is that 1 syn?) 7oz new potatoes (boiled)

Puddings/Snacks - apple, muller light, grapes and snack size choc bar (5 syns) for supper.

Going to parents tonight with kids for fireworks and need to stock up on the horses stuff later which will be another 100.00 - I seem to be spending loads of money today but it is all budgetted which makes a change.

Hope everyone has a good day - see you later. x x

Hi all - hope everyone is ok. Ive had a nightmare day!

DS started being sick last night and again this morning so kept him off nursery. Then his face started to swell but not really noticably. Then all of a sudden his cheek started to get bigger and his skin started to go an odd colour. Got an appt for him and he has some sort of infection in his face either sinus/ear/mouth and his eardrum looked fit to burst apparantly. Anyway he is having to go to hosp tomorrow for a general to have a tooth removed - arrggghhh!

So thats my news - hope everyone is well and hope your weigh in went well taxi - ill catch up with your diary later.

Lucielle - horse is doing really well. She seems to be holding her weight pretty well this winter. I think its down to bringing her in of a night earlier in the year than normal - hope yours are keeping out of trouble.
