Evening everyone - had a very quiet day today, feeling a bit lethargic why is it that the less you do the more tired you feel!

OH spent £60.00 on fuel today for the rest of the weekend but that is all for today.

Forgot to say that I won £5 on the everton lottery. have paid that straight off the dorothy perkins card and will be paying the £60.00 tax back straight of it as well so only have about £140.00 left to find and then that is gone - wohoo!

After that it is another MBNA card to clear with a balance of around 1900.00 and that is my aim for christmas.

Hope everyone has had a more productive day than me. x x

  • Glad the debt busting going well Penguin. I know how you feel about feeling tired whan having done practically nothing. I always feel better and have more energy when I make the effort to do stuff. Strange this is that I know this but most weekends dont abide by it??!!

Good luck in your challenge. Is your sig less your parents wonderful gift? If not then you must be close to sub £30k.

    Thanks everyone

KP - yes I updated my sig and snowball so thats the new figure in my sig.

So budget time I have £64.31 in my account with £505.00 waiting to clear and £960.00 due in on the 30.09 which makes a total of 1529.31. I need 1100 to cover direct debits so should have 400.00 which will be used for council tax, gas, water and elec which comes to around 450.00 so will need to pay some of OH earnings in as well. Money in and straight back out again but at least everything is paid! xx

Evening everyone - not much exciting to say - had some money credit my account so it is looking quite healthy at the minute - wont last long though all the big direct debits go out tomorrow!

Need to make sure that the snowball is up to date and work out this weeks overpayments - need to get rid of that Dorothy Perkins card (paid another 60.00 off it today!)

Hope everyone is ok - see you later with some sort of effort of a budget! x x

Thanks Taxi - not too bad thanks, having an awful week at work but only one more day before the weekend yeay!

Not much exciting to report on the money front bought some concert tickets online that my dad was after which came to 96.00 and he has given me 100.00 back so a whole 4.00 profit - paid it straight off the dotty p card before it got swallowed up in bills. Have 300.00 in the house and 172.35 in the bank with another 575.00 coming on Tuesday - need to do a budget and work out where it is all going though!

Out tomorrow evening for a meal with work as an early birthday present but wont spend more than 20.00 and nothing planned for the weekend.

Ooh just remembered my good news - was sorting out a cupboard before (you know the ones that you just throw junk in and shut the door quickly before anything falls out) and found

    £5 dotty p voucher
    £30.00 next voucher
    £10.00 topshop voucher

I also have 20.00 dotty p vouchers on the side and another 10.00 on the way from surveys. Dont know whether to sell them or spend them. OH says to use them as I never buy clothes and it would mean having extra clothes for work - but I am undecided!

Hope everyone has had a good week x x
