Had some really !!!!!! news today and it has made me feel awful - wondering if I could have done more. Horrible.

Anyways work wasnt too bad and kids are happily playing with mimimum fighting at the mo!

Thanks Taxi - its a weird one - there was a murder here recently and I found out today that I knew the people involved - acquaintances rather than friends - I used to speak to them regularly because we both had a disabled child and theirs was older so I was asking about the school admissions process and we got quite chatty. Its stupid really because I know nothing I could have done would have changed things but I cant help wondering.... x x

Aw penguin thats so sad. Things like that are hard to deal with. Just like you said, nothing you could have done but still feel dreadful.(((hugs))) in the meantime.

Thanks KP - It seems so silly I didnt even know them that well - I saw them most days and he was only telling me the day before it all happened what a hard summer his wife had stuck at home while he went out working and I just think if I had some amazing bit of wisdom to tell him - I dont know it sounds silly doesnt it! x x

Poor Penguin...must've been a shock for you as you say though you didn't know them well so wouldn't have thought that anything was going to happen.Must be hard to deal with so hugs from here also xx

Work was busy today so feeling a bit frazzled tonight. OH is watching the football and playing with the kids in the living room so have got a bit of time to play!

Off work tomorrow so I am hoping to get a load of housework done (its never ending) and pay a few bills - will hopefully be able to update my sig tomorrow. Nursery have confirmed we have 2 free weeks so that is £300.00 we have to play with which luckily is the amount we have left on the Dorothy Perkins card with a bit to spare.
