ARHHHH I've been trapped inside me own washer:rotfl: The plumbers have just gone off to lunch so I seized the opportunity to sneak into the garage and get some chicken breasts out of the freezer.
It was nowhere near as bad as I thought, quite easy infact to slowly shimmy the freezer lid open a crack and slide one arm in, waggle it about a bit and pull a tray of chicken breasts out. Lid now closed and all of the complicated and scary-looking boiler parts that are strewn all over the top are exactly where they were left:j

Emboldened by this triumph I turn my attention to the washing that has sat in the machine since 8am this morning on account of the washer being swathed in hessian throws and covered in other boiler/plumbing type bits 'n' bobs (I believe that is a bonifide technical term in plumbing circles). Using my now tried and tested tecnique I lift a corner of the hessian, slowly lift the lid a few inches, insert arm and begin to waggle it about. Slowly but surely item by item is removed and dropped into the laundry hamper. All is well until I locate Mrs MATH's brassier which has decided to hook itself to the belt loop of a pair of jeans which in turn have wrapped themselves around the agitator.
If anyone has read the biggest turnip in the world and of how the pulled an pulled you will know where I'm coming from.
Assesing the situation I realised I had two choices:

    1. Abandon the project as a bad job or
    2. Climb into the washer to free said items.

"I've started so I'll finish" has always been my motto so I lifted the lid a tad more and slid my upper portions in. I'd almost freed the jeans and entangled bra when I lost grip on the washer lid (covered in boiler bits) and the lot crashed down on me pinning me half in and half out of the machine with me legs waggling like they do in cartoons.:o

Having finally climbed out of the washer I then notice that the plumbers have left the garage door wide open and I've given two dog walkers and a catalogue delivery guy 10 minutes free entertainment!

Indeed, its good to hear from you Curry_Queen.

Thanks for the laugh Math...I needed that today.

As for what I should have done first thing this morning.....put washing on, setup breadmaker for a loaf when I get home....what did I do? None of these things. I've become hooked on an online game (sad I know) Civilization 4. I really enjoy the chat and messing around. In fact I was so hooked this morning I was late for work....but then boss isn't here, so what he doesn't know won't hurt him.

Note to self: Must do wasing tonight....need clothes to wear.
