ASDA codes CHAT ONLY thread

  • Currently ASDA has a multisave offer on Tropicana Juices. Has anyone else noticed that both the 1 L and 1.75L cartons of Tropicana Juice are marked 2 for £3?

Correct me if I am wrong (it did take me three attempts to pass at Maths)

    BUT Doesn't that mean 2 L for £3 OR 3.5 L for £3? If so, doesn't that mean 1.5 L is effectively free... TD.

I've managed to get one to work, but noticed the following warning on my evoucher page, next to the tick box -

"No eVoucher may be copied, reproduced, published or distributed directly or indirectly in any form for use by anyone other than the original recipient."

Don't recall seeing that before, would certainly appear they're on to us!?! ;)
  • Does anyone have any current ASDA codes ?

    Many Thanks

Free delivery when you spend £50 or more
    Discount Code: M4-BT-EM-74
    Expiration: Mar. 31, 2009

18minutes and 12seconds after calling the customer care centre and I had this free delivery code attached to my order as a new customer. I only decided to use ASDA as my wife had seen a "free delivery" code in the Bounty magazine [the above code] and we wanted to see what ASDA offered different to TESCO. A few differences:

Round Lettuce each: TESCO 57p : ASDA 62p
    Tortilla Chips: TESCO 87p : ASDA 98p
Kitchen Roll: TESCO 112p : ASDA 98p (smartprice!)

I should have gone thru mysupermarket to price compare - but for what I have ordered my bill seems a touch higher than I expected (I knew a fairy non-bio liquid and a comfort pure would kick in a tenner!). It's not worth the hassle to shop at ASDA, the products are similar for what we buy, and the prices fluctuate just as regularly as all other supermarkets [oooh look, a rollback on a product you increased in price only 3 months ago!.. that must be a great deal then!], and I don't have to waste 19x3p = 57p on the phone to someone who cannot understand a postcode or a voucher code without me repeating 3 times each... mother-four-bravo-tango... sheeesh.

Back to TESCO for me... better (and more) delivery times that suit me, better range of products, and online codes that work online, and points!

I want to warn shoppers about amending your Christmas order with Asda!!!

This exact same thing happened to me 2 years ago and has just happened now

My order was booked for tomorrow between 2pm-4pm I went on to amend my order and it cancelled the entire lot and slot. I have telephoned Asda online who have confirmed that the order is totally cancelled. They told me that unfortunately when you go in to amend your Christmas order that slot immediately goes available to someone else and at this time of year its snapped up just like that therefore it cancels out your order!!!

I told her to please take note of my complaint and I want someonbe to get back to me about this its an absolutely crazy way for a company to have such a way of doing things I cannot be the only person effected by this and it must put some people in an enormous mess at this time of the year as to get another slot is not possible now.

I know this is the codes thread but I thought it important to let people know what could happen to them if they wanted to add anything or take anything off an order, its probably better to just leave it and give back what you dont want to the driver and pick up anything you forgot from the shop if you can.

I did not do christmas shopping with Asda last year due this experience the year before, I couldnt trust it happening again but I did book this year thinking they couldnt possibly do that again they must have put the 'tech problem' as they called it right by now but they obviously havent

I really messed my Asda order, I must have altered it about 12 times and it still came no problem, however as is getting this close to Christmas it might not be worth risking it for some people.

I'm sure this should only happen if you take more than 3 hours to amend your order after which time your delivery slot becomes available for other people to book.

I've just amended mine without any problem. But knowing that it would have to be done within three hours I wouldn't let the missus do it.
  • I have my shopping slot for tomorrow, went in to amend and it took away my free delivery (was for £50, but they changed it to £99 delivery) I phoned them up and I was told that the amount was changed because too many people are using it that are not entitled to i, only the customers who have been given the e-vouchers can use.

Luckily I was quick enough to say that the e-voucher was originally e-mailed to me, I was put on hold then told that the manager had agreed to a new e-voucher which would be available in my account, I had to log back in and go through checkout again to receive the new e-voucher which was available straight away!

It was 30 seconds at most!

It only takes one person to be there to take the slot out of everyone so its not so difficult to do. They should keep the slot protected while its being amended like tesco must do as its never happened to me in what must be 9 years using them

I'm just warning people because it did happen to me twice so it does happen

To be honest like you say it really should be at the least 3 hours same as for when you normally do an order but for some reason its not, not for me anyway I really don't know why
    Thanx
