Slaying my debts, the second year

happy new diary.
Now what happened at the driving school thingy, did you go, take the test, pass? What's the low down?
And good luck with the OU, I still think you can get one of the courses done this year. Honest
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi chev!
the driving.....hmm.
well it went like this.
Creepy guys in B and B
B and B smelled funny. bad funny that is.
Driving lessons went ok on the Monday.
On the Tuesday I was very nervous and was sick - before the lesson did the lessons but drove at 70 miles an hour which frightened me so much.
On the Wednesday before the lesson I couldn't stop crying and was a total wreck. My driving instructor was lovely about it and has rearranged the lessons, thank God
I was gutted about it but then decided what's done is done. It was the icing on the cake re me and taking my time instead of rushing and wanting everything now!
so now its day by day bit by bit.

Hi Buffy, Love the new diary. Just thought I would add my bit!
At least you have enough perspective to see your mistakes and put them right. A man who makes no mistakes learns nothing... that is why I am so bloody clever!:rotfl:
I give myself far too much to do also, but why don't you break your goals down into three chunks, short term goals (ie daily) medium term goals (six months - maybe working towards another job) and long term (being debt free in a year).
I haven't read your old diary
sorry - but I will keep up with this one - but you have never come across as a whinger at all in your other posts.:T Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Sorry about the driving lessons, but the good part is at least you can get them rearranged, maybe they came along at the wrong time, the "new" buffy diairies, puts u 1st, the debts 2nd.
So have a lazy day as its sunday, and enjoy yourself. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Buffy, do you think the sick feeling in the afternoons could be stress related. Even when I don' think I am stressed but I have been putting myself under pressure to do something (ie driving) my stomach is always affected first.
I would complain about the creepy guys in B and B and complain also about Bad smell and see if you can get your money back. I would then just have lessons on a weekly basis. An hour and a half at a time if you can...take it slowly. You will be driving a long time! I passed my test the third time of trying BUT it only took me six months of lessons....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hi Sammy! I am sort of just giving myself four things to do each day apart from work(when it starts again). Debt free date is the only goal really - once the debt has gone I can change jobs, save for a house etc. Daily stuff like the one ebay, one payment seem to work very well for me.
Mum2one = I am going to watch the closing ceremony but I will sort out paperwork today. every piece of paper that belongs to me will be put somewhere!!!

I did think it might stress, someone suggested that too. I am worried about work but I thought i had it under control. My driving instructor was lovely about the b and b etc, part of the deal on the intensive course is that cannot get an sort of refund - I am lucky she is giving me the lessons at a later date. I think the test thing bothers me much more then I realised. cos I have been having lessons on and off for YEARS but never taken the test.

Even when you think you have everything under control your body has a way of telling you differently....I have IBS and it plays up constantly, even though in theory I have nothing to really worry about, not in comparison to other times at least. I took lessons on and off for years too. I started learning when I was 17 and eventually passed when I was 23. I was ill before every lesson and almost had to be sedated when I was taking my tests...but I made a decision to just do it, stuck to it and every time I failed my test I immediately put in for the next.... Stick to it Buffy, when you pass its the best thing in the world ever...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

okay how about a middle goal then. I am reading a book called 'Four secrets to liking your work'. It won't change your life but it may give you a different perspective on your work at the minute and help you when you decide to change jobs. When I have read it I will pass it on if you like?Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

if you could stop the homicidal feelings I have for my "boss" and the dread in the pit of my stomach that would be great!
Its a shame really I loved teaching so much. but now its mostly a nightmare.
