Listing Fee Increases Yet Again??

It wasn't so long ago when we watched with dismay how eBay robs us of 8% of our totals, including paypal. It is now going to be closer to 12-15% for small items below £50.
eBid has very very strange pricing policies based on subscriptions, so unless you actually sell a lot (and sell successfully) it doesn't look like realistic alternative.0 -
How to kill a company - forget the people that helped you build it!
I will need to start putting my stuff in Ad-Trader or Loot.......unless Exchange & Mart re-gains its place in the UK buying and selling marketplace.I am NOT a Woman! - its Overland Landy (as in A Landrover that travels Overland)

10% final value fee for anything under £50 (buy it now).... That's £5 final value fee and £2 PayPal fee....
eBay what have you done.
I think it is basically pure greed :mad:0 -
I have posted the full list of changes with tables. It is bloody horrendous.Buy for value not cost.
Feb Grocery = £55.87 / 800 -
theres ibootsale which some people talk about! but the only place I use really is ebay! oh and I sell my old children clothes etc... on a mother baby website! - perhaps its an idea to find forums of people with interests of the things you want to sell and see if they have a buy/sell section?
Sorry, just playing catch up with the thread.
We have loads of unused/unwanted baby clothes to get rid of - are there sites for that kind of thing?
I'm reluctant to do a car boot sale as there's only 1 I know of (Blochairn) and apparently it's tough to get a pitch0 -
It has to take someone with a large client base to set up a 'kind of Ebay'. I wish someone like Martin and Hotukdeals could get together and make an Ebay type business. They would have great support come time

I have just put some items up for sale on IBOOTSALE and i found it very easy to use. There was no listing fee and very straight forward. Ibootsale is stil quite small but i think if every body stops using ebay and there very expensive prices, ibootsale could become a very good website. Recomended to anyone that wants to sell items.0

You can reserve a pitch at Blochairn and there are other boot sales in the area - Polmadie, Clyde Valley, Lanark and Airdrie are ones I know of. Best to check out before going. Both Polmadie and Blochairn have under cover sections. Selling prices at Blochairn are quite low so might not be worthwhile. You could put an advert in the blue paper as bag of baby clothes.0 -
I cant see the charges ...just get an ebay legal notice page. That from the above link too from TheEffect. I assume thats its a glitch and that ebay are not reconsidering!0

I've been having a good look through EBid tonight and there's some great bargains on there that isn't getting the same competition as Ebay. So great for buyers at the moment and the more people catch on to this the better

GET onto EBID...Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0
