The other week at work was looking at demographic profiling, apparently some of the profiling comes down to your shop of choice..you know Waitrose posh....Liddl not. Then went shopping to Liddl and bough very nice goose breast, lobster and Chablis! (was special occasion!). Liddl alaways reminds me of holidays...always the same all over Europe. Nice for unusual stuff as well as basics..tapas, cheese, olive oils, roasted peppers..yum0

ALDI: The frozen lamb shanks, unavailable since December, are back on sale.
Strong buy for £3.99.0 -
This has become a big thread may be someone can spend some time and make a spreadsheet / table to summarise. rather going through 100s of comments.
It will be easy to go through a chart.
I know people will differ in opinion but again there will be some sure shot things that buy and what not to buy0 -

I love the lamb shanks, but sometimes they are not as good - stringy meat and not much sauceYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Just discovered Lidl & can't believe the prices compared to my usual supermarket (Sainsburys) . Think that I will be visiting more regularly in future ...
Can anyone let me know if the W5 non-bio washing powder is any good ? Especially interested if anyone with eczema/very sensitive skin has used it . currently use Ecover & this is costing us a fortune with 2 very young children in the house (one in washable nappies!) .
Thanks0 -
What amazed me about Aldi is the non-food range they stock. In my local store I've seen everything from computers and DVD players to pneumatic pavement drills and cement mixers. Wonder how many people just popped in for a loaf of bread and then had to explain to their partner why they needed to dig the pavement up!Amazon sellers club - member number 63.
January challange - sell 10 items. 0 down, 10 to go!0 -
