    Lidl
Breaded Hake. Good chunky fillets. £2.79
I haven't seen hake for years on the fish counter in any supermarket, so a real treat for me.

I recommend as Lidl best buys - anything with chocolate, and anything alcoholic. Their vanilla Ice crean in a blue box is suberb!

    Love Aldi.
But DO NOT buy their vacuum packed Frying Steak. It was as tough as old boots! had to give it to the cat! Reading's new shop is small but good. Southampton's shop is amazing!!! Go there if no where else!

I bought Lidl's version of Penguin biccies and couldn't tell the difference. They were called something like "Chocolate Sandwich Biscuits" and were good at 99p.
Hoping this year is better than the last. :)
