You know what I'd rather be classed with Paul and Oliver than some foul mouthed loser who has quit a job and then runs around the internet whining about how hard done by they are and how they will get revenge. Grow UP for goodness sake !!!
Think what you like about me-I don't give a flying whatsit. Go ahead and keep whining -you're just making yourself look stupid, immature and a loser.
Oh and I'm NOT your "dear" I have taste not guts !!!I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Well, training is over and we start nesting on Monday
All of us got through and all of us are nervous about that first call, but we are as prepared as we can be - now it's a matter of putting all we learnt into practice. I'm sure there will be some laughs with customers and I'm very much looking forward to getting settled in.
So, to all of the TT Class of 4th August 2008 - Very best of luck for Monday and I'll see you all on facebook at the end of the shift (I'm on the 7-11 shift)

I've received my Welcome email from my trainer. It says I should read the "attached training handbook" but there isn't one.
Is the Training Handbook different to the UK Teletech@Home Professional Handbook that I was sent in the post?0 -
Depends on the volume of calls coming in, some nights its busy and you get very little time but some nights (last friday) we were getting 10-15 min gaps as the call volume slumped.0

Are they constant, one after the other, or do you get 10 seconds/1 minute whatever in between?
If it's anything like my current job (Jobcentre Plus) then the calls will be almost constant. We can go into an After Call Work aux code but it has to be kept to a maximum of around a minute.
Having said that, imo a shift goes by quicker if you are kept busy.0 -
Was considering giving it a go.But not after reading the links below.

Lets put that in to perspective though, considering this
thread has been running a year and has over 3000 posts
its to be expected that some people will have left and
will share there views on the job if they didn't enjoy it
But if you read deeper into the the thread you will see the majority
of people are still doing the job.
The other links you posted do not relate to the @home uk project
so there not the ideal source of info.
No the company is not perfect, but if you think you could do the type of
work and want a regular income from working from home, then like I always
have said before just try it for yourself.0 -
