Nesting isn't that scarey
You will have approx 3-4 SU's with your for support plus your trainer so if anything happens you just shout for help and you get it.

well done missy mai on your training. I'm in week 3 of training,i know how you feel, but to be honest i think no matter how many weeks of training we get it will still feel daunting. I,m hoping after a couple of weeks it will start to fall into place. There seems to be an awful lot of info to digest, i suppose its a case of remembering the most important, and using the help and resources available to us for the rest. Good luck in nesting , and any tips you pick up feel free to throw them my way lol.0

ok i have another question for those in the know here.
i started to fill the online application in, and got stuck somewhere, so spoke to a live helper. as it happened it was a good thing to do as i asked some questions, but one question i didnt really get a response i was expecting, and also wasnt given a response to another question as i was told they couldnt answer that. anyhow, basically, i asked wether the customer service agent position was the tech related position, and i was told no, its taking inbound calls ? to which i asked what that involved and was told i couldnt be given a response.
im not interested in being a sales agent, and was more on the tech side. i thought the customer service agent was tech related, but im confused now after being told that.
any thoughts ?0 -

I'd say when I've wanted overtime 90% of the time it has been available. I worked loads of extra hours before I went on holiday last month and quite often will work a few hours on my days off or work past my usual shift finish time. It's rare my payslip shows no extra hours worked in the previous fortnight but also- just as importantly if they want people to work extra it's always asked and never demanded and I've never been made to feel bad when I've refused extra hours (If you've ever worked anywhere where extra hours is an expectation you'll know what I mean !!)
That first call out of training is nerverwracking for everyone !! I think everyone sits waiting for it nervously-but once you've got past it-it's fine
LOL Jen -no it isn't "electronic envelope stuffing" Doesn't take three week's paid training to do that. You are expected to use your brain and your people skills. I suggest you read the original thread as it follows Oliver from his first post where he found the job advertised through applying and training and starting work a year ago. I followed his progress with interest and once I was convinced (I'm a sceptic about "work from home" jobs on the internet too) I too applied and have been with the company since January. For family reasons I need to work from home -and it suits me very well. I don't think it's suitable for people with very young children unless there is a second adult available to attend to the children whilst you are working as you need a noise free enviroment and be undisturbed during your shift whilst on calls but that aside it can be an excellent way of staying in the work place without the extra time and expense of commuting -not to mention the savings on work clothes and lunches etc that all eat into the income of most workers.
