Yep as auddel states you must be on a wired network connection, wireless is no good as the system uses Linux and your device may not be recognised. Plus due to overheads, interferance and security of data issues wireless is a no no.

hi just wondering how everybody who started on the 4th are getting on? i started 11th so coming to 2nd week of training. still a few technical problems going on, just feel ill never grasp everything in time for going live. Is this normal for this stage?
Totally normal, don't worry and don't panic. Once you are sent out onto calls for the first time you will be fully supported by Super Users and your trainer, any questions or problems you hit will be answered directly by someone as soon as you ask and if you have issues with the system the trainer can help you out there too.

for inbound sales the hours are from 20 to 26 hrs- this is seen as a part time job HOWEVER once out of training and nesting and depending on your performance you are sometimes invited to take on extra permant hours - I do 34 hours a week. There is normally overtime available as well -but this cannot be depended on as for 3 weeks we had none whatsoever- as PaulK said, it depends on the needs of the client. You will be asked to choose your hours between 20 and 26 and I think if you ask at the meeting tonight about doing permanent hours you would be told it is only part-time at the moment. I really do not think you can see this job as a full-time job yet- most of us in sales do have other employment during the day, however there may be opportunities later on to increase your hours.

    Hope this clarifies your queston:beer:

Thanks for that. I have another interview tonight, so will ask, do you mind me asking if you could PM me with how much you take home wages is? just that i am wanting to give up work and work at home, so this would be perfect for me, but we need to see if the amount i take home would be anywhere near i am now. As i aint the main earner you see. Might see on the interview tonight, but if she says only part time then will have to give it up. Do they advertise for full time positions at all? or 30hrs+?

    Thanks

Once you get out of training and into nesting you may be suprised to see you recognise a few names out there lol Don't worry, you will get all the support you need once you hit calls, some of us have been doing the job long enough now to realise that new agents need a bit of extra protection for the first week or so ;)

Can anyone advise on how long it took for their New Hire Paperwork to arrive? I've been waiting a week.

Just wondering if I should let my recruiter know.

Just relax, you won't be alone and you won't be the only one in the same position.
