They will let you know if you have been unsuccessful
They were very hit and miss with me.
I think they are extremely busy.
Think positive and try and be patient.

After my history with them i.e being unable to access the assessment and speaking to 4 different people on various occasions and not having it resent, then waiting for my 2nd interview and the person never calling back, chased her up as well said she'd send an email to reschedule, still waiting, being told I was unsuccessful then emailing them telling them it was unfair since I never had the opportunity to do the assessment and then being resent it 2 weeks after **breathes** I am a bit skeptical but thanks for the reassurance ;)
  • Looks worth a punt. But any downside?
  • well done to speak out, i think were the only 1's who have, i'm the same i left because of all the rubbish you have to put up with, i wish the company were more into helping there customers instead of aht and q/a, but there not, u get told 10 mins per call but if u have a person on the phone who has never set up the system b4 how in the hell is that going to happen..it is a joke.as for the hols and time off that was 1 of the main reasons for leaving, so all you new tech agents BE AWARE!!there is a lot of unhappy people working for TT.
  • Well yes this is what really makes the job a pile of poo AHT ( average handle time) is around 10 Minutes if you go over say 13 minutes you will get a private message from a so called Super User and what this means is the Super user wants to you tell him / her what the call is about so they can “help you “ so imagine your at work doing what it is they pay you for you know how to do the job your talking away when you have to stop what you’re doing and reply back via a instant message to a patronising fool who thinks he or she knows more than you do loll this is how pathetic things are some staff members are really good @ their jobs but if you’re not up the team leaders backsides you have no chance staff are promoted on the basis of who they know and how friendly they are with their own manager as I said on the original post you work this out a team leader gets a minimum salary of 18k a member of tech staff is on 6.00 p/h a super user is on the same now the team leaders are happy to let the Super users do the work for them two right they would be so you got a group full of authoritarian team leader wanabees picking away at the very people who are there to try and get on with the job
I suppose for 6.00 p/h some people would be happy to put up with things like this but when you ask for 6 days off in June you asked for this 3 weeks in advance and it gets denied 2 days before your due to go away you start to think “ Sod this” and leave I was there for just over 9 months I know now the holiday situation is actually illegal no employer with any sort of respect for their own staff would only give staff notice there holiday request was denied 2 days before you were due to go away read the above email not only will they let you know 2 days before your due to go if you haven’t been granted the time off they won’t even email you to tell you loll how would you ever be able to make any sort of plans ??? They treat staff with the highest of contempt

I have so Meany emails and forms etc showing this lot for what they are am biding my time but the day will come I am not just someone who’s !!!!ed off this lot treated me like SH** as they do everyone else it’s not my style to just walk away people need to know the truth

Gosh I must be a female Oliver or Paul then......and I'm not even a super user !! ;)
OK I'm not going to dispute that some people have had issues over holiday-I'm just going to quote my own situation and what happened to me.
I booked holiday for both May and July/August. Both were peak times one covered a bank holiday the other was school holiday time. In both cases I booked as early as I could (3 months) and got my dates. It's no different to other places I've worked before-if you snooze you lose. If you need specific dates you need to book them early as only a certain number of people can be away at any one time. Yes I've had other dates I've needed off and I've asked my collegues to swop shifts with me and got them that way. (Maybe people have always been willing to help because I'll also try and help others out in the same situation).
One of the examples quoted above was that someone couldn't get days off in June when requesting them three weeks ahead-to me that is short notice as June is a popular time for holiday. Most companies wouldn't be able to grant that as others would already have booked the dates.
I don't see this as any different to any other company I've worked for in the past-If you need certain dates book them well ahead .
As i said before-I'm a not a super user I'm an agent. I log in I do my hours and I log out again. I don't expect any special treatment or hand holding. I'm an adult doing a job -which on the whole I enjoy. I work with a good team of people who are friendly and supportive and the hours suit me. You'll get moaners in every job -to be honest if I had a job I didn't feel was treating me right I'd get out (I told a certain very large travel company last year that THEY had not passed MY probation and I was leaving) and concentrate on finding a job that suited me. Not waste my time with stupid veiled threats like "I am biding my time-the day will come" (sounds like a bad B movie script to me LOL)
Teletech is for grown ups -working from home does require a certain degree of self reliance and it has struck me that those who struggle are those who expect to be hand-held through every working day. When I need support , training or advice it has always been available to me from my team leader or the SUs (and occassionally they've sat and listened whilst I've had a good vent and let off steam-happens in every job from time to time-especially when working with the public :) ).
I can and have been very critical of companies I've worked for in the past and my own personal experience is that Teletech whilst not perfect don't give me personally anything significant to whine about !!

I have just started with teletech so dont know too much about how things work, but so far i have found they run things pretty much the same as anywhere else ive worked. If i find down the line its not for me, fair enough ill leave. There has been thousands of posts regarding teletech, surely if it was that bad there would be more negative than positive. As for the personal attacks on Oliver and Paul, uncalled for in my opinion, they have helped a number of people on here along with many others.Dont understand why you're so vitriolic, if a job's not for you you leave ,end of story

Loll i am not a super user you say ? No but ill put good money on it your right up there with the rest of the rearend lickers my dear your post says as much ....
Behave please, there is no need for that, everyone is free to their own opinion but at least refrain from being rude.
Explain this 120 staff only 2 can be off on anyone day 52 weeks in a year how could any member of staff take 1 full week off work never mind if its the summer period or not ?
This is more to do with the staff than anything, there have been times (before the RTO issue) where there was between 25 and 33% staff absence through sick leave or unauthorised absence. This impact how many people can be relased for RTO and unless the absence level improves the numbers released will stay low too.
You sound like another one of the "no problems here brigade" as i said above some people dont mind working like that for 6.quid p/h and hats off to you i only lasted 9 months my scores were never below 90% i didnt stuggle with the job its the s*** you get from the company staff are cattle in out in out one leaves someone else starts more have left than actually work there currently is this the sort of company you think does things correct treats staff well ?
Has anyone here said that TT is perfect in how it carries out it's business? No. A number of us are absolutely PO'd with how some things are being done but are actually trying to work with the TLs and management to try and get changes to occur.
Oh and SUs are there to support staff in case they are having trouble on calls, they are told to contact agents once they go past a set time on call and if the agent needs help they will offer it, if not they will leave them be until the TL throws a new list of long calls up. SU's are not chosen for their brown noses and have to achieve certain targets before even being looked at for the role, SU'ing is a thankless task made even harder by some people who believe they know all the answers when they blatantly do not.
TT may not be the company for you and the role may not have been what you thought it would be, you left and that's your choice but to be honest from what you are posting you are coming across as a very immature person and it's a struggle to take you sensibly since you seem to have a massive chip on your shoulder.
