I've just filled in my details. I have a technical support and customer service background. I hope I get it :j

Can anyone tell me how long they usually take to contact you once you've applied? Thanks :)

How have you found it so far KzakQ? Are you enjoying it and have you been given your shifts yet?

Hey skysky69, yep im enjoying it so far, just gone into nesting and they have just changed the policy in which you stay in nesting for up to a month to ensure everything is ok, which is better than throwing you in at the deep end. Yeah i have received my shifts they took into consideration what i could and couldnt do. My shift are all between 5-9 with mon and tues off.

    Have you applied SkySky69?

And they have asked staff in tech to take a reduction in hours so who knows if there will be any more jobs coming up soon....

I applied and got offered a position but it was to start just after Christmas which wasn't enough time for me to leave my current job (notice period) so they said they would get back in contact for the next intake for the training for the tech job - this seems to have disappeared into oblivion though which I assume is due to the current global economic downturn and recent posts on here about cut backs etc. I am keeping my eye on things to see when they start taking people on again and I will then get back in touch with Amy and see what is happening. So do you work Weds through to Sunday 5 - 9? Thats a great shift pattern.

I don't think that they are employing anyone at the moment. I received an email saying they would let me know in due course > I was training in December but had to wait for my disclosure forms. These took too long to come back so they terminated my contract :(

Sorry to hear that, although there was two or three people in my training group who had had there contracts terminated previously (due to delayed disclosure), they initially trained in december too, but TT asked them to come back to train for a couple of days and they are now in production with us. So maybe they will call you back if you stay on there case :j ? My heart dropped when they told me my disclosure hadn't come back but luckily i only had to take 2 days leave and everything came through and i was put into nesting.

Thanks. They said they would contact me if something came up but think at the moment they probably don't need any more staff. Just annoying as it wasn't even my error.

    Oh well.....

  • hi guys,

Just came across this and as i am currently out of work it is something that interests me!

I have looked at their website and I was wondering if someone could tell me what they pay or a rough ball park figure?at the moment I could probably offer 6 hours a day between 12 and 6pm mon-friday.

If someone could give some info that would be great, as i am always on my computer and would like to make use of my time on it!!

    Thanks
