    Re: Experian

What is it that we have to get off them and how do we get it?

Lulaloo, you don't have to get anything from Experian - they do it all.

When you send your paperwork back to Teletech, they will pass it on to Experian who will do a background check - credit check, previous employment, schools etc. Experian also apply to Disclosure Scotland for your criminal background check. Once Disclosure Scotland have produced your statement, it is sent back to Experian, who pass it back to Teletech (along with all your other checks).

I think the big problem a lot of people encounter, is the Disclosure Scotland statement. It can take quite some time for Disclosure Scotland to process the application after receiving it from Experian. It can take even longer for Experian to let Teletech know they have it back though....

I've one real problem though, does anyone on this thread know of a London solicitor who will sign the verification thing without you already being a client of theres?

I didn't have any problem finding one to do it (I'm just outside London). Just call around-they don't need to know you-it's a document verification process. Try the ones who advertise free consultations in Yellow Pages rather than the more "exclusive" ones.

When I did mine I must have found the thickest solicitor around-she looked at the forms and said "Well how do I know it's really you ?" I told her that as my passport in front of her had been accepted by the UK and US governments as ID for the last nine years it was probably OK....... and she signed it :rotfl:

    Hi All

Hi Modavida; thanks for your message; I really hope my credit rate won't be a problem.

I did the assessments 2 days ago and have not heard anything yet; my 1st interview is on the 4th of March; will the recruiter tell me if I pass or not?
Or do you receive a separate message with the results of your assessments? I can't wait; I am so desperate to start working...

Lulaloo have you receive your results yet...

  • I am so annoyed-still waiting for my disclosure Scotland form. have been waiting since mid Jan and am really needing to get stated on this. Disclosure Scotland just say the aren't the ones that keyed it in wrong but neither did I :(.

I just want to get to start work.

Do you get paid for training? I had kind of assumed that you would, but then I realised I had just decided that in my own head without anyone actually telling me :rotfl:

I am nervous for my interview tonight. Mainly because I've never participated in a group telephone interview - is it a case of she who shouts loudest wins?

I hope not, as I think I'd be uncomfortable trying to compete with other people.
  • Glad to say that you do get paid for the training.

Good luck with the interview tonight.

I've just completed my group telephone interview - fingers crossed. She said she'd get back to us by Tuesday of next week.

My finger is hovering over the button to apply. The more I read this thread, the more I like the idea.
I've been unsuccessful in getting a job for three years now, and my CV is crap due to long periods of sicness.
Oh well, nothing ventured! nothing gained..
