dont you find it funny that you can access your Experian within days if you go online but it takes up to 21 days if you do it any other way....WHAT!!
Guessing know one else has had any luck or have managed to setup another interview.
On second day of training now all is going well :j

The problem is, TT outsource to Experian to do the background checks (financial, employment history etc) but Experian are also responsible for applying for your Disclosure Scotland statement. So a third party is applying to another 3rd party for something. It's a joke.
Experian had my Disclosure statement back in the first week in January...but it took over 2 weeks for them to inform TT that everything was okay.
Experian really suck!
Duchy, I'm right there with ya on the coffee and canteen biz! Lol! :T0 -
Hi All
Just did the assessment tests yesterday; hope I did ok...
I have my 1st appointment on the 4th/03 at 2.30 pm; got to collect my kids at 3pm; so I am to find someone to collect them...
I am a bit worried about the credit check; what's happen if you have a poor credit rate and CCJs?
Any of with poor credit rate got accepted?
Thanks in advance

I think the majority of people applying will have had credit issues in some shape or form at some point.
My credit rating is pretty poor so the credit check thing was the bit I was worried about, but I'm now in production so...!
If you have a CCJ or are bankrupt, they may want more info - this happened with 2 class mates and once they provided the relevant info, everything was fine.
Don't worry too much about it - if you any major concerns, speak to your recruiter and they will hopefully be able to help and put your mind at ease.0 -
Re: Experian
What is it that we have to get off them and how do we get it?0 -
When you get your contract through there is some info you have to fill in. Previous address etc. It can take some time for them to process this (especially when THEY key in the wrong info) so it is best to get this done as soon as you can to prevent you being stopped halfway through your training etc.January Grocery 11/3740

I'd love a job on the tech customer service side.
Does anybody know how they would react to an "older" person applied?
And how much experience does one need, I've never worked in a call centre tho I've had plenty of "face to face with customer" experience, as I worked in a small garage for many years and had to wear all the hats during a typical day.0 -
I have a job here and have no customer services experience so I wouldn't worry about that.
I can't see there would be any problem with a older/mature person applying either.
Give it a go.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Hi People,
I completed my assessments and had an interview back on the 9th of January. Having not heard anything from them for over a week, i contacted their 0800 number whereby a lady called Cheryl informed me my interview had been positive and it was a question of waiting for the next training sessions etc.........
Im still waiting!
Is it worth ringing again? A forum member called sanity said they can be notoriously slow , and the last thing i want to do is be a pest!
regards,

I'm an "older" person too and had no problems with that in recruitment. Also no experience, so don't let that put you off.
I've one real problem though, does anyone on this thread know of a London solicitor who will sign the verification thing without you already being a client of theres?
My solicitor retired years ago and I've not needed once since, so am really struggling to find one who is willing to take my money to sign this document!
CheersMy first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
