Oh my God, just a tip: if you're going to plant fake reviews for your company, at least make them sound realistic. I'm going to have to go to A&E and get my toes uncurled after reading that pile of smaltzy vomit from good ol' Dorothy Lame-Bollox.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member No.11.

If you google Dorothy Laine-Fox you'll see that all she has ever posted about is Lapland UK and her praise for it.
She's on Mumsnet too as DOT777 talking about........ Lapland UK. http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/1395/379111 (Bottom third of thread)
I never realised it got so heated on Mumsnet. Makes MSE looks tame when we have a lighthearted dig at some posters. They tell each other to F**k off on there. Seems it needs to be renamed Mumsnuts, take something for their PMT and have sex more often! The man without a signature.0 -
:rotfl: At that site....I've been reading it for ages now in stitches at the transparancy of the sad trolls trying desperately to drum up some support for the place.
My fave comment from the site though has to be:By tiredemma on Wed 20-Aug-08 09:04:20 I have heard many people say it was s**t.
You don't really need to know anything else do you?! :rotfl:"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Shame on you lapland uk - that is the most obvious fake post I've ever read!
I was considering going this year - even WITH the price hikes - although dorothy says its just a 'little' more - not 3 - 4x the price then eh?? But then I read some reviews slating the place and that was at last years cheap prices! I dont think so. Esp not when a 4 hour trip would be needed!
We've booked center parcs instead - £350 for a mid range wood cabin the weekend before xmas. They do a winter wonderland theme with samta, skating carriage rides etc. So 4 days for the price of 4 hours at lapland uk.
God, I'm still laughing at Dots post!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j
£10 a day challenge Aug £408.50, Sept £90
Weekly.

We went last year with the kids- my 5yr old thought the 'flight' to Santas home was a load of carp, and the annoying students and rubbish toys disappointed them, so the chances of any adults coming away £400 lighter and satisfied are very slim
As for reindeer and husky dogs - never seen such fed-up looking animals...poor things
It really is a prime example of why people quote the phrase 'rip off britain' - overpriced tat marketed as 'unique'
As RoxieW has mentioned, centerparcs is a FAR better deal- if you have young kids don't throw your money away on LLUK - I thought it was pricey for what we got last year, but this year they deserve to go down the pan for what they're charging- what family has a spare 300-400 quid to chuck away right before Xmas- for a 4hr trip?!
I'll have a pint of whatever 'Dorothy' is drinking - and as for the £380 for Legoland?? - click your heels together 3 times & see you back on Planet Earth!0 -
Crapland uk is a better title for that place...0

Ah, chrimbo. Get ready to release the cash for trash. NO
Do what Fred and Freda do
Everyone gets the same. Dairy, pen and a £10 voucher. Regardless! Just last week on a visit near to the Old Wicked Witch of the North and Father in Out Law, he got out all his old Channel 4 Racing daireis and realed off all his wins going back 15 years! Now that is a present to give, rather than a commercial fleecing like this!0 -

I'm tight - with me, they'd just get the pen"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
