  • Okay. La poem

    Road To Perfection
    I saw bones
    Etching themselves from my back
    Forming two arcs
Like a swan in frightful pain

    My once glowing skin
    Feigned by the dullness
    Of perfection
    And skeletal beauty entwined

    Mirrors breaking through time
    Glass shattering ever so silently
Rose petals scattered on ashen skin
Tormenting scars with their delicate frailty

    Wine stained tears
    Trailing from my effete eyes
    A path, joined in remorse
By the sorrowful sounds on my lips

    A tragedy of consequence
    Produced by my integrity
Of what causes me to be a wallflower
Seeking undying beauty in everlasting peace

    Tarnished thoughts echoing
    Throughout this fragile soul
    Still waiting on perfection
    To deliver her home

    Anyway.........

wow, that's amazing... I'm not quite sure what it's about as I don't know you and you may not want to explain, but it's beautifully written

    Thank you.
I'm an open book and everyone here knows about my circumstances and seeing as you are part of the thread too, I don't mind saying. :)

I have an eating disorder. Anorexia Nervosa to be specific so that's what the poem is about. :)

I have the belief that if I don't understand myself, then how can I expect others to understand me?
"Articulate" and "Very aware of self" have been used a lot of times when describing me by my key workers.lol.

  • Cold, what's cold? Hehe.

Well, not only do I have a cat who farts like a weapon of mass destruction, but she is also the reincarnation of Houdini. Somehow she manages to escape from the flat, she's done it twice and I've never seen her get past me when I come in or out, she must move like bloody lightning.

I really want to study psychology, I searched around in town today but there is nothing in this small place, might have to resort to paying for one of those home learning courses.

I find it all very interesting and I wish I wasn't 'so self aware' and have such heightened emotions and stuff like that, why can't I just be a person that happily bimbles along from day to day, with a cheery smile and a weightless mind.

    ;)
