morning all, how are we all today?
hi rbk, not seen u post for a while, how are you?
anni, hope the mental health link worker gets you the help you need. why is it that they wait til people are so ill that they decide to step in and help, when obviously help sooner would have prevented you becoming so ill in the first place.
not sure how i am feeling todaytired, glad the school hols are almost over, feel bad saying that as i love my kids, and we have been alsorts places this school hols, but 6 weeks is a long time, and i need a break, dosent help that i get no respite, they wont play out alone etc, so they are with me 24/7 except when i have appointments, then my mum has stepped in, but she really struggles with the boys as she is ill and frail, and the boys tower over her.
am going to the coast tommorrow for 2 nights with lads, should be something to look forward to, and it is for the boys but for me it makes me feel more lonely if that makes sense, seeing everybody else in couples and families reminds me how lonely i am, miss adult company miss hugs
feeling tearful, so i'll go now
hugs all

(((((((((((hug))))))))))) Shaz As Katie says you are a great mum to your boys and should be very proud of yourself. It is hard enough being a single mum without coping with disabilities as you do.It makes sense to me about being lonely, some people say how can you be lonely you are not alone you have kids but it is a differant kind of lonliness. If you are a mum you are there to support the kids because thats what mums do but who is there to support you? nobody.Like you say it is adult company we crave and just a hug,i know we try our best with virtual hugs on here but we both know it is no match for a real one from someone who cares.0 -

I woke up not feeling too great but I needed gas and electricity so decided to walk to the local Co-Op, but I needed to take money out. Then on the ATM screen it said cash isn't available at the moment. Grr. I shall either go back down later today to check again or go down tomorrow.
I'm not going to go to the drop in today. I really don't feel up to it.
When I got back from the shop, I had a letter waiting for me. It was a letter telling me I'm getting published in my 10th poetry book, with my poem "What Mental Illness Feels Like". It cheered me up.
I hope you're all okay today.
xx
Hi Lady M,Congrats on having the poem published you should be very proud. You proberly arrived at the cash machine before they filled it up but at least the walk got you out of the house.Do you have enough gas/electric to last you till tomorrow?0 -
Heya Gemini.
Thank you.
Yes I do. I have about £20 on gas (so don't really need to put more on but I like to stay in routine.lol.) and £6 on electricity which should last me.
