MItchum and Glayva MOCs were no problem.:D
For any of you couponers that are in Scotland, if you pick up an Edinburgh Winter Festival brochure from your local Tourist Info Office there is a £2 Glayva MOC in there. That is the one I used with no problem this weekend.:j
TasteofAutumn 50p went through fine for me today.0 -
doesn't Tesco stock the item?
if they do they should not block it!
My local Tesco will not accept more than 1 coupon now.
Gutted!Absolutely davasted!
Their excuse was that people were taking the stuff back although the paid with vouchers and getting their money back.
True ot not i am stuffed like a bloody turkey.
I thought I will save some money but now ........(can't stop the tears).
Anyway got my revenge told them, that it I will do my shopping at Morrisons
and Asda and Waitrose from now on.
glayva coupons were blocked this weekend - it aint a particularly big selling line so i imagine they are taking far more coupons than they are shifting bottles
as for the mitchums these arnt blocked at the tills but there are so many of them going about and in my experience they will usually take one of the two but not both because they are for the same product0 -
I know this isnt a printable coupon but not sure how many people saw the "products with money off" thread in here.

The Nestle picapac of cereal are £1.21 in Tesco
The best before end date is 31 05 09
You cant see but there is 25P off on each of the backs of the 8 packs, so £2 in vouchers.
(plus 50c ROI on each one)0 -
bit of advice needed please??
I have the £10 waitrose conditional spend, a £3 sainsburys conditional spend and 2 tesco tillspits one for £3 off a £20 and the other for £2 off £20 - can I use them all together? will it just be depending on SA and till accepting them?
also second question the OK £1 MOC's that were in the Daily Express and Star yesterday and today - they all have different bar codes so could they be used together?? ( depending on SA obviously;))0 -
I've just rung CS at Dundee to ask if I can use the waitrose £10 off voucher instore and they said .................................................. NO!
Not very happy, was hoping to use mine against a Wii package.
Have also emailed them asking for it in writing because I'm sure they've taken them in the past.We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -

Haven't managed to get the GLayva taken in Tesco at all. Get both the mitchum ones through as a rule even though they have to key in the one. The coupon thing is quite stressful now at my local s they are all over the place!!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I knew Dundee wouldn't know their own policy, lol. They aren't Head Office, they don't make the decisions or issue the emails so they get missed out of the loop. They are just a call centre and I bet less than half the staff there would give you the right answer.
This problem happened in the Summer as well, when many stores wrongly denied people wanting to use the Morrisons voucher from the Sun. Lo and behold, about 3 weeks later many stores were issued with a carpark banner that said (too late) 'we accept Morrisons Spend & Save vouchers'. Grrrrrr!
If the email comes back with the wrong answer as well, then why not phone up again and ask the same question (it's such a big call centre you'll get a different staff member).
If you get told no again it's wrong, don't accept it! Be polite but confident and say 'I am sure that's not the case, my friend told me an email has gone out to the stores mentioning conditional spend vouchers and Waitrose is one of the stores listed. It's not a new policy either, you've been taking these for years and it's not just Sainsburys ones. Can you check please as my store is unaware and I thought you'd be the people to help me?' If they say they haven't seen the email that's not good enough, they need to refer up the line about it until they find someone who knows that it's a national policy with no store discretion.
The email came from whoever issues CSM Updates which I suspect orginates from Cheshunt (but you can't ring Cheshunt). LilacLillie, why not ask the person in Dundee do some groundwork for you to find it, they are meant to be Customer Service after all and it's embarrassing for Tesco that Dundee staff almost never know the coupon policy.
The other alternative is to go back to your store and allow yourself a good 45 minutes of calm discussion and hanging around at the CS desk to refer your query up...and up...until they find someone who has actually read the coupon policy. Most stores have some staff who know and some who don't but you only need to find one person in the know or one who can be bothered to look at last week's email.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
