I-LV-COUPONS wrote: »Just got back from Mr T's Chesterfield Road, I've been told that they do not accept the Mitchum £1.50 or £1.00 ones anymore, has anyone else been told this???
was in my local T today, used £13 worth of coupons, including both Mitchums and the glayva on a £23 shop no probs, i think it just depends on the SA you choose. I always try to get a young lad and and avoid middle aged old bags like the plague.0 -
I'm still here, just laughting as a change of policy is coming soon and you are going to be disappointed LOL
Heehee, I am still here and I am still laughting as well, edna! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Is this the policy confirmation you were waiting for, the email that went out to stores only this week? You know, the one that confirms the policy is EXACTLY as we couponers already know it???
The email in question was posted on today's newspaper thread, here's the wording quoted below. The 'one coupon' is still one per supplier (as it always was). There is still NO LIMIT as long as all coupons are different.
Why not tell your ex-colleagues so their store doesn't get too many complaints, no doubt they won't have read the email if they are like you and think their version is right. Do you really not care at all about Tesco customers and the slim chance that we may be RIGHT WITH WHAT WE SAY:
QUOTE:
Tesco have re-confirmed their coupon policy this week and all stores have been sent an e-mail.
Regarding competitor's conditional spend it states:
"we can accept competitor conditional spend coupons from ASDA, Sainsbury, Morrisons, Waitrose, Aldi, Marks and Spencers, Co-Op and Boots.**
For all conditional spend coupons more than one coupon can be used providing the conditional spend is met, i.e. 2 x £3 off £30 shop, £60 must be spent."
For supplier coupons it states there is "no limit on how many different coupons can be presented".
"only one supplier coupon can be accepted per item not purchased"
For those that have been refused the Waitrose coupon today send a letter of complaint to Dundee with your receipt and they should send you the £10. Also complain about the store.

Many thanks to the OP ethen1, who I believe is also a Tesco employee but one who actually cares about customers enough to spread the truth about Tesco coupon policy (please please thank her on the newspaper thread here):

HTH, take a copy instore with your Daily Mail Waitrose coupon everyone - it should save arguments.
**P.S. Interesting to read for the first time, conditional spends are OK from 'M&S' and 'Boots'??? Their barcodes are not compatible with Tesco tills...?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I wouldn't worry too much about D.edna, she's probably one of these middle aged old bags I've mentioned in my previous post....0

I have a £2 off £20 spend for The Co-Op Pharmacy.
Would this be a conditional spend coupon accepted at Tesco?
Thanks0 -

Glad you managed to get yourself some loo roll. Would have hated it if you had of needed to go see the doctor for anything personal - the doctor would have been thinking you had made rather too much of an effort for him/her!:rotfl: And of course I do hope you managed to buy your 44p roll with MOCS - just to please our Edna of course.0 -
nikinackyloo wrote: »Just been in to Morecambe Tesco ( who usually take anything) and was told by the lovely SA that a 4 page document has just been issued regarding coupons and apparentely only ONE coupon is now allowed per shop:o she hadnt actually read the whole thing but will let me know next time I go in exactly what it says - looks like the train driver( D Edna) will be very happy today!;)
Mines been one coupon for 3 months, but now they say it is NO coupons.
I''m happy if its still one, as thats an improvement for me. I only pop in for the odd item now, so using a coupon each time is a bonus..
But i bet its still at the managers discretion, and i would be surprised if those 4 pages don't say that internet coupons don't have to be accepted.
D.edna is pretending to be a train driver at the mo, but no doubt will be a temporary Tesco worker when she comes back to this thread.0 -

she's a geezer??!
HE sounds very much like a middle aged old bag!0 -
When shopping y'day, casually asked the c/a who served me, "I gather u dont accept mitchums anymore" - to my suprised the c/a said is it? Well, no one told me that, so, as far as I am concerned I still accept it.
Well blow me!!! I didnt take any of the mitchums with me:eek: . Different day different story...
Happy to report the Mitchum £1.50 scanned for me earlier today! The Glayva however seems to be blocked, although it scanned ok the till refused it! (Not an original but a very clear print from the e-Metro), it has worked in the past (Not at this branch) so may be individual stores and not national....:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)
