Mrs V my timer unfortunately broke, so I use the timer on my oven now - the beeping is quite loud, which is good, but I live in a flat, so it can be heard in every room.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I've sent the kid upstairs to have a good wash and get changed as they decided to jump in muddy puddles whilst we were out with the dogs. However DS has just come downstairs and apparently they've had a bath! I still haven't been to town so as soon as they're sorted I need to go there.

On the plus side I've picked another tub full of blackberries so I'm thinking apple and blackberry crumble for pudding tonight if I get time otherwise it'll be tomorrow!

Well 3 days into 1 is going well. I let DD bake M&M cookies so the next job is to tackle the kitchen but my BAYGEN wiind up radio has just broken - it unwound and whacked me! So I want to look online to see if it's repairable (by me) and will probably leave bathroom till tomorrow.

I have also pegged out washing.

Help please - where do I find defrag control on Windows XP?

I dread to think what my clean bathroom floor is like after the kids have had baths - with any luck it will just be wet but I don't want to look!

I KNEW it was there somewhere TAG and I have been rooting - uninstalled Delivery Reader - that was a waste of time - while I was looking - but couldn't spot it! I think that was a definite 'idiot moment'!
    many thanks!

Ok I'm back, that 30 minutes flew!

I decided to ditch the painting idea and wait for DD1 to be here to watch the younger ones for me, she will be getting her GCSE results tomorrow so we'll have to see what sort of mood she's in

I have spent the last half hour sorting out the stuff from the cupboards to take to the dump tomorrow morning, got a good car-full, maybe two, don't have enough petrol to get me there today!

So I feel as though I have achieved something, as well as ridding my hall of all the golf stuff, maybe I can watch Big Brother guilt-free this evening :D

Thanks for all your help and advice :)
