Oh and incase we're all wondering why Im the last one to go to bed-We have new neighbours,Im getting ready to take them a nice big flask of coffee:rolleyes:Yes, they are moving in right now! There are about three kids riding up and down the street on their scooters and mum and dad are yelling at each other from inside the house to out at the van-not to mention the motorised hoist and the thumping of heavy appliances:eek:What on earth possesses people?
On a lighter note though-Im ahead for tommorow:jWaiting for this lot to end I have:
Swept and mopped the kitchen and lounge floor
Picked up the toys
Wiped down the cupboards in the kitchen
Done tonights dishes
Got a loaf of bread on timer in the Panny
Wiped down the skirtings
Put away the laundry that was left from earlier today
Sorted the bedroom (DH says he actually feels like he's in a bedroom now)
-Oh and I bagged a printer off a very nice lady who responded to my wanted post on freecycle so DH wont have to keep remembering to print my bits and bobs for me:j
Good thing all thats done mind you, we have a playdate tommorow:)

Morning All
Got up with DH this morning which I don't normally do when he has an early start but hey.
I've not got anything planned today anlthough I'm going to Asda to get a new hoover, I've got some stuff to take back to Matalan and some shoes to take back to Woollies so I'll try and do that today.
Ended up being out all day yesterday so although I did have a quick read when I got in I didn't post any more.
Hope everyone has a good day
Catch you later

Morning all. I'm off to work today as well. Only 3 hours 8 till 11am. It'll be a bit of a shock to the system I think after having last week off.
Still I've got 1 load of washing just finishing so I'll hang that up before I go. Start as I mean to go on and all that.
Catch you all later0 -

Got up early to see DH off to work and make a cuppa and then crawled back to bed with the laptop for a surf and lie in - I can be so lazy sometimes:D DS5 has just climded into bed with me and has bought with him - Mickey Mouse, a Fimble, Po, a tractor, Lightning McQueen and his colouring in. Don't think my quiet lie in is going to go on for much longer!!
I'm going to spend time getting Christmas organised today, make a cup of tea and read through the crafting and planning for Christmas threads and print off a couple of the Organised Christmas sheets.
Anyway, Flying for today:

I get the emails, etc from Flylady, but must admit to deleting them and only doing the bits I can (Swish & Swipe, etc).
With this, it's fun to see what I can do in 30 mins with my timer (took me 40 this morning, but really wanted to finish) before going to work so hopefully it stays like it... (have to set the timer or nothing to remind me to get ready for work!)
Not sure how long this will last - it's fun and a bit of a novelty at the moment - but hoping it will become part of my routine before I get bored so I keep it up... we'll see, but until then, thanks a bunch... My house will be organised (maybe not always clean, but always filled with love eh!)
Oh, by the way, do you ever put stuff on the lists to tie in with the Flylady emails or are we supposed to be doing the monthly challenges too?Just wondered as they are on laundry at the moment (a big problem with me!) so I have been trying to keep up to date on this (the main word there being trying...:o )

One of the (first time) pregnant mums was appalled I had not given birth naturally and asked if I felt I deserved a healthy baby not having given birth naturally!
My tart retort was - all I cared about was walking out of that hospital with a healthy baby and that's what I did.
I breastfed DD too - but not having given birth naturally I am not a good mother BULL S**T.
You make your choices - number, feeding type, whatever. I used to tell people I breastfed because I couldn't be faffed with making up all those bottles!
!!!!!!???
Well I suppose that must mean that I was brought up by a really bad mother.
As I was adopted she didn't give birth to me and couldn't breastfeed me, however no-one could have had better, more loving parents.
But I must admit to having used the 'pigeon-pair' comment. Not sure why 'one of each' seems a good thing - it just does, but I will try not to comment in the future. After all having no children myself I have no right to have any opinions on anything.0 -
the only downside is my local council. they have this archaic points system were everyone can get a house, just so long as you don't really need one. We have been accepted as homeless so we have a load of points, just not enough to get a house. But they still havent added my disability points or ones for DH being in the forces for 11 years. So spending a fortune on petrol to get to the council offices and another fortune constantly phoning them.
But trying to keep chin up, a bit hard when we are a 90 min drive from my mam and dad and Dh's work, and i have to take the kids to school tomorrow and its gonna take an hour to walk there, great for me with my problems with walking! Bummer was that last week we just missed out on a nice house by 5 points, dont want to think about it but think i may just have to call in the local mp.
Don't hang about - get on to your MP now.
Can't remember, are you back to Scotland? If so MSP as well.
You need all the muscle you can organise.0
