  • Today I could not be bothered to make lunch and as I was out I got lunch for me and lo at a well known bakery £4.58 but i did not need to take money out of the bank for this I had about £7 in my purse. So there goes a NSD for me. However I am determined to have one tomorrow. I have only managed 3 NSD this month but it has been the school holidays and had lots of back to school stuff to buy and uniforms.

Got a washing hanging out and another load on so not too bad on the domestic front. Nothing to report on the DMP today.

  • Post has been and Barclaycard have accepted my DMP:j :j . Out of 10 creditors only one is not playing ball Citi. Although they are not calling or sending letters it was just the statement the other day with charges and interest on but very happy that nearly everyone is on board. Feeling much better about the whole thing.

Hoping for a NSD today. Have my bedding in the machine and another washing waiting to go on.

Hi LFTS, sounds like things are falling into place with the dmp. Citi were one of the 'non-contactors' when I was getting mine sorted.
I owed them over £7k but all of a sudden they went charge and interest free....but after six months of CCCS they sold me to the a***holes at 1st Credit. Lets just say that I reported them to the OFT for their 'try and scare the pants off' tactics...and they are still doing it and I'm still making notes!
Telling you to call a premium rate, contacting you rather than your dmp 'minder' and trying to get you to borrow more to pay THEM is against the rules!!
If it happens to you....name and dmp number only, dont even confirm i.d if you can help it.
Keep it up, just think how boring life would be without all this...ow! just bit my tongue!!!:p

  • Hi Pepe2008 thanks for the advice. Citi called my OH (its his a/c) last month and the conversation was okay but they did ask if he could borrow the money to pay them. He said no and not heard from the since only the statement last week but I am sure it will all change. We owe them £3200.

Today I spent £20 in Morrisions on bits and bobs. OH did some overtime yesterday so should be an extra £60 next month :j

    Hi LFTS,

When I spoke to CCCS about the Citi/1st Cr situation they were very supportive ( I have £60K on £409 per month with them ) and very calming. Its good to read on the forum from people who suggest just holding on and sticking to your guns but whenyou get the same advice from the angels at CCCS it all seems a bit more believable.

Like they say, creditors do occasionally have a little nibble now and again but once they are reminded about CCCs they generally slip back into the darkness.

Hope youhad a relatively cheap, but fun, Bank Holiday, I worked 13 hours of it at double time so that should help....and the Tesco should have plenty of reduced stock tomorrow!!!!

  • Hi Pepe2008 looks like your the only one following my story so thanks for all your input.

OH got paid so did a big shopping in asda going to try to budget for £150 this month. Spent £69 but got lots of stuff. Had to get petrol too so £15 but should last a week if I dont use the car much. Think i am going to try to keep track of these spends in my signature.

On the DMP front well Lloyds sent some bumph in the post after I had requested a copy of my agreement. It is only T&C they have sent no signature of mine so not sure what to do have posted on the cca request thread to see if any one can help. Also got to sort out my DMP folder it is getting abit messy.

Yesterday spent money in Morrisons on a few foody bits must look out receipt and update signature. Had to put the heating on today had so much washing to do and it was raining so had no choice but OH and I sat and tried to work out how much it cost us in gas so we can keep an eye over the winter. Funny thing was I ended up with a headache today must not be used to having the heating on its been 2 months since it was on.
