I hate to say it Strumpet - its snowing hard here and its settling:eek: Mind you it looks rather surreal outside my 'office' (tiny bedroom without a bed but with desk and bookcase) because I can see the snow and see my geraniums still in flower:eek:
Well done on the NSD - I didnt have one today as I needed milk nor did I have one yesterday as I had to go out to sign up for test trading (I am now official).:j
Hope it isnt snowing in Nelso although I suspect that it is.
Be careful driving home.0 -
Horace, I'm sorry but I had a right laugh at the thoughts of your OH throwing a strop and packing his bags cos you cooked him sausages...
Strumpet- looks as though you are going great guns with the debt busting and studying!0 -
Wednesday 29th October 2008 (20 days to exams)Good afternoon all.Welcome to my diary LuckyStepho!I did really well yesterday and had another NSD! After saying the other day that there weren't enough days left to get to my target, I've had three in a row! Going for another today.Horace: Sorry to hear about your snow but to give you something else to wrooy about, I bet that I could get one more NSD day next month than you can - you bet 12 and I bet 13 - HA HA!!!!! Love ya really!Having home made chilli for lunch today so no spend for me.Will have to spend on diesel tomorrow though so not looking good for the NSD target after all. Weather is so cold here - went to bed last night at 9pm with the electric blanket on Level 4! Heating is on and staying on - was hoping to get into November but had to admit defeat. Still, got my gas and leccy bill yesterday and I have paid off my arrears on the account by all but £8.70. This means I am now paying for the fuel as I use it rather than in arrears! I worked out that my last 12 months bills have come to £780 = £65 /month.Happy days! Studying tonight again - doing really well.Lova yaSxxxNIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!Nov Grocery Challenge: £0.00 / £150.00

is the coving done yet?;)
Coving was finished on Monday night - OH and I did the whole room in 3 hours and we made a really good job of it. What a sense of achievement. And we had a laugh when we had a "coving adhesive" fight. I got him right on the side of the head with a big dollop!!!How childish but great fun.NIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!Nov Grocery Challenge: £0.00 / £150.00

Well done on finishing the coving. You haven't said if a dollop of adhesive landed on you - I do wonder if your head was shoved in a bucket of the stuff after catching your OH on the side of the head with a huge dollop:rotfl:
Anyway I have racked up another NSD today and will most likely have another tomorrow too...watch out though I only bet on winners and I haven't lost a bet yet:p
Lunch today was thin air - tonight I will have jacket spud done in the remoska again and maybe I will stick some cheese on it.0
