I am feeling much better after a good night's sleep. Off to the doctor's now for a flu jab to see me right for the winter. Promised myslef a lovely dinner this evening so I'm going to call at the butchers and greengrocers too.
Then back home to study for the day.

We'll be checking up on you so watch out because that Horace and that Mrs P, they are right nags you now. They never stop carping on! They're dreadful!!!

I HATE living SO close to Boundary Mill! (For those that don't know, it's a huge discount store, selling everything you could possibly want!). It's such a trial to drive past and not go in. There was a huge traffic jam coming out of Barrowfaord towards Nelson cos they are digging up the road a teaspoon of dirt at a time, and so after I'd been to the "drop in for a flu jab" surgery at the health centre, I decided to beat the traffic and come home via Colne.

Ended up in Boundary Mill! I didn't buy much but I did buy a new chrome drainer for the kitchen sink because the old plastic one is, frankly, quite disgusting. The kitchen looks cleaner already from just having that on the draining board! That cost £8.90 which was cheap considering it was chrome.

Then I spent £18.26 on groceries for the week including a huge bag of chucnky pork loin for a HUGE casserole today (and for the rest of the week to I'll bet). A good way to use up old veg that is just about past it.

I think I'll make my grocery target for the month anyway as I can still eat from the freezer for the rest of the week!

    Anyway, tasks for today:

    1. Make lunch - tuna salad with lemon and honey dressing.

    2. Empty washing machine and put clothes on the airer - raining outside so no drying on the line today, worst luck!

    3. Set the washer off again, this time on bedding. Can't wait to slide into a nice clean bed tonight! Shame about the non-drying day though!

    4. Study (At least 2½ hours - Chapters 1 to 5 - Question Practice)

    5. Prepare tonight's casserole - pork loin with carrots, swede, sweet potato and red cabbage (using up all the veg in the fridge)

    6. Prepare a large Gin & Tonic!:shhh:

    7. Vacuum and dust the ground floor after the plasterer has made such a mess.:wall:

    8. Prepare another large Gin & Tonic!:shhh:

    9. Sit in front of the computer and get my accounts / finances up to date._pale_

    10. POST SOA!

So Strumpet's going to be a busy bee today!

EEEk - just realised that there are only 6 days of October left and if I am to make my NSD target this month I need to spend £0 between now and midnight on the 31st.

    Is this likely?

    erm.......

hi DebtFree - yes I'm having the same issues as you - just can't seem to get going with the study but at least I'm doing other jobs that need doing.

I have just done 3 intensive days at college 9:30 til 4 so I'm not too worried at the moment. Got all tomorrow too
