Found some TS serum yesterday, so a couple of bargain shops with those and TD products with voucher and points.

Got a couple of 500points WYB 2 P&P skin care (used one on the new hand cream), if anyone can make use - it'll stop me being tempted to spend more money, lol!

Also a couple of PC 1500points Oral B.

    PM me.

    Perfumes.....

I love Chanel Coco mademoiselle for very special occasions (coz its so bloody expensive!)

Stella is lush too...my friend (who used to work on the perfume counter) told me that it was designed to smell like a ladies fairy to attract men!!! Not sure how true this is but I do get a lot of compliments from men when I wear it........;)

DKNY be delicious (red one) for daytime.

My OH and me both wore Eternity on our wedding day. Ah so romantic.:D

I want to get Notorious next, I think its by Ralph Lauren, smells a bit vanillary but not in my local Boots yet. I saw it in the airport.

Also...does anyone have any ideas on a good glossing serum/creme, for applying AFTER you've styled your hair? I use JF sheer blonde gleam creme atm, and I fancy a change but would like something similar?

    Hi mrsbluebear

I use john frieda glossing serum but after styling I alternate between lee stafford shine head serum (lee stafford is gorgeous) or toni&guys curl creme which is quite good too.
The new rock & rose pret a porter perfume is nice but I prefer the couture version , what a shame boots don't sell vera wang perfume.I had to buy mine from debenhams last week.

Pegginout-I think we have the same perfume collection.:D I bet you have chanel chance too.

    perfumes....

I love Paris~ YSL, Ysatis (sp)~ Givenchy, Armani~ Code, SJP~ Lovely, Beverly Hills ~Red, do they still make this!?! and my most recent discovery and I love it was Thierry Mugler~ Innocent! I do like to smell nice and always get comments even when I wear a cheaper Avon one for work (Far and Away) lasts all day and everyone says how nice it is... after I spend loads in BOOTS on the posh stuff! PAH!!!
all so very different too I think, though someone who knows perfumes will probably tell me there is something the same in them all that makes me like them, i don't care I just like them!!!
sorry for waffling.. again, I will get my coat!! lol :o

Did you know the same perfume can smell completely different on other people? (you probably already know that ! lol)

Two women get on an elevator. The first woman reeks of perfume and the second says, "What's that perfume?"

The first responds, "Chanel #5, £99.00 a bottle." The elevator stops on the fourth floor and another woman boards reeking of perfume. The second woman sniffs the air and the third woman says, "Paradise £149.00 a bottle."

The elevator stops on the sixth floor and the second woman moves to the front to exit, lifts her skirt and farts. She says as she exits, "Baked Beans - 49p a can."

Sorryyyyyyyy couldn't resist ! I'd better stop now before I get thrown off this thread for non-boots related talk - although I was talking about perfume !

  • Ooooooooooooooooooh regarding the possible half price offer on electricals. I was thinking of getting the No.7 mirror with the lights at the side £39.99 with points. It would so make my weekend if that went down to half price!! Does anyone have it? Any good? Also asked about the heated No.7 eye lash curlers I bought today - wondered if anyone owned them and what they thought?

    xx

I got one of these when they were 19.99 a couple of months ago (they were half price for at least one month if not more). TBH I am not that impressed with it, my mum's Revlon version has more powerful light that can be adjusted i.e. office lighting, daylight. In summer I am better off with daylight but maybe it will prove more useful in winter.
