ACM is total pants this month. Last month my brag book was bulging with slips of paper, half of which I didn't even put in there. This month I've got about 12 print outs, most of which are for various cheap skincare Boots own brand ranges that I'd never even noticed on the shelves before i.e. Vitamin E (white and orange packaging), "Complete Skincare" (pink and black packaging), Evening Primrose Range (which consists of about 2 items SFAICS).

Metro Centre has loads of the Max Factor GWP still out on display, with the notices about spend £15, with an end date of 12th Aug!
Anyway, they scan free, and the waste bin by the SS tills is absolutely chocker full of discarded till spits.:D

Kingston Park has loads of Jemma Kidd nail files as well, ones at the Metro Centre still behind the barriers. Boo.

Just a quick question for all you "dab hands" out there....
Not really Boots Related but.... is there anyway of going back to where you left off on this thread?
Like a bookmark sort of thing? If i am away from the Computer for more than an hour there is usually a fair few pages which i need to catch up on each time, and i always have to find where i left off the previous time..IYKWIM.. LOL

My method is:
1. Bookmark the thread in favourites (remember to update each time it changes)
2. Keep a notepad by computer and note what post and page I'm up to.
3. Next visit I arrive on page 1 of thread but zoom to correct page by using the downward pointing triangle to the right of all the page numbers - this lets you skip to whichever page you like.
4. If you are catching up on lots of pages and know you will be leaving computer again before you've totally caught up, try to resist reading beyond first post on the page you are finishing on.
5. If posting new replies before you have caught up completely, make sure you follow the quote link back to where you came from.

ps if I'm speed reading and don't want to spend time replying because it's likely someone else will have beaten me to it on the posts I've not read yet, I make a note of the post number and the subject and then if it gets covered in subsequent post I cross it out and if not I reply when I've caught up.

I know exactly what you mean as I had to ask this question many months ago too. When you click on user cp you will see the list of subscribed threads. There is a little blue tick next to them click this and it will take you to where you last left.

does that make sense as i am not great at explaining things
