Can one of you kind ladies please help me get my head around this? :o Bugs the life out of me that I can't get into this Bootsing malarky.

Okay, I've been instore a couple of times in the past 2 days and have my Facial Care till spits and No 7 £5 vouchers. Also picked up the Boots mag for said vouchers inside.

So I've been looking at the 1st thread for guidance determined to crack this. But here's a classic example of what a daftie I am when it comes to Bootsing. I just can't get it! For example:-

TS is currently on 2 for £7 and if you use the voucher from the mag to get a free product you can get 2 products for as little s 1p.
TS Long Hair Shampoo + TS serum 1p to pay

The serum is £6.99 and the shampoo is £4.49. Both these items are on offer just now, 2 for £7... okay. But when you then apply the voucher from the mag (Free product from the TS Professional Long Hair Range when you buy any TS Professional haircare product) would they not deduct the cheaper of the 2 as the freebie meaning £2.51 to pay?. Still alright, don't get me wrong!

    *scratches head*

Where am I going wrong peeps?

Thanks in advance for any replies :)

mmm yes i see what you mean. it should take off the cheapest ts long hair product and probably will.

So why dont you buy the ts serum at 6.99 then another ts product but not in the long hair range and then you will defo only pay 1p

    does that make sense

I don't know why this hapens but it takes off the most expensive one, so eg. the serum, so you only pay 1p. I'm not complaining!!!!!:j

  • Also...does anyone have any ideas on a good glossing serum/creme, for applying AFTER you've styled your hair? I use JF sheer blonde gleam creme atm, and I fancy a change but would like something similar?
May not be quite what you're looking for but I'm loving the Trevor Sorbie Freshen & Shine. It comes in a 100ml spray bottle and glosses and refreshes hair between washes - and of course you could get it on the current TS glitch!

I'll explain the TS as I (personally!) understand it ......

    2 for £7

so till takes off £4.48 (smaller priced item is £4.49 but because it's 2 for £7 and your hair serum is £6.99 then it needs another 1p from the smaller priced item to make it to the 2 for £7 ........ with me so far? lol)

Then hand over your free long hair item (being the serum) and it takes of £6.99 from your total of £7 (which is made from the £6.99 hair serum and the 1p left from your smaller priced item) and you just have the 1p to pay from the smaller priced item.

Does that make sense ??? lol ........ It does to me ! lol
