Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 33 - Post your finds here

:hello: Hi ladies
I managed a Boots trip today and am very pleased, will post details soon, just feeding little lady and typing with one hand
Anyway, I saw that the Oral B toothbrushes were reduced today to £14.99. Now if I bought 2 of these, could I use the 1500 points pc coupon, and then the £5 off electrical printable coupon? Also if I boostedthe total to £35 say with some replacement heads then would I also be able to use the 350 ACM wys £35 or more?
So something like this
1 x Oral B - £14.99
1 X Oral B - £14.99
1 X Oral B replacement heads - £7.49 (just got price from .com don't know if it's correct)
Total - £37.47
Hand over PC 1500 points
Hand over ACM 350 points
Hand Over Printable £5.00 off
Total - £32.47
Points - 1850
What ya all think??????
Hi Moyilla,
I tried using the PC voucher with two oral b toothbrushes but it beeped and the SA was unwilling to try it. I suppose it depends who you get!0 -
Hi
Just to say the Mitchum roll on etc are showing as £1.79 on the website :j
Maybe old news, but i just seen it_Jen_0 -
I agree with what has been said here about the Mitchum vouchers - Boots arent losing out financially as they can get their ££ from the manufacturer for the vouchers. Kinda like how a newagent gains from accepting money coupons for newspapers.
I thought the Mitchum glitch last time was fab and stocked up. IMHO deodorant is expensive and what with hard times now, we should take advantage of any offers in the shops.
The Tooting Broadway Boots, I was served by a lovely SA who took my 50% off and £1 off voucher for Mitchum for one can of Mitchum and one pack of Bots branded facial wipes. Total price 14p!
Thumbs up to the male SA who laughed at my A4 50% off voucher, telling me to shrink the size of the voucher. He then charged me 15p each for the two cans I bought.
Boo hiss and thumbs down to the grey haired SA at Monument Boots (opp House fo Fraser, London Bridge). She tried to scan the voucher with her scanning gun, it beeped and she said, you can have this voucher as the product is already on offer. Boo yah sucks to her, I took my voucher and left. Oh well, I'll try another Boots.
Still have yet to try the TS glitch as I love the shampoo and get through so much! The only Boots I kno in London that stocks it is the one on Oxford Street, such a trek....
Does anyone know anywhere in London that stocks the TS long hair stuff? Liverpool Street? Anyone tried?Lovin Boots and other bargainous places!0 -
Can one of you kind ladies please help me get my head around this?
Bugs the life out of me that I can't get into this Bootsing malarky.
Okay, I've been instore a couple of times in the past 2 days and have my Facial Care till spits and No 7 £5 vouchers. Also picked up the Boots mag for said vouchers inside.
So I've been looking at the 1st thread for guidance determined to crack this. But here's a classic example of what a daftie I am when it comes to Bootsing. I just can't get it! For example:-
TS is currently on 2 for £7 and if you use the voucher from the mag to get a free product you can get 2 products for as little s 1p.
TS Long Hair Shampoo + TS serum 1p to pay
The serum is £6.99 and the shampoo is £4.49. Both these items are on offer just now, 2 for £7... okay. But when you then apply the voucher from the mag (Free product from the TS Professional Long Hair Range when you buy any TS Professional haircare product) would they not deduct the cheaper of the 2 as the freebie meaning £2.51 to pay?. Still alright, don't get me wrong!
*scratches head*
Where am I going wrong peeps?
Thanks in advance for any replies0 -

Make sure your final total is over whatever the ACM total spend requires because I have tried transactions where I have handed over a total spend then handed over all my discounts - the voucher doesn't beep because you fulfill the requirements at the time but you don't get the points included when you look at receipt afterwards. Tried it twice so pretty convinced this is the case.
However what does work, but harder to orchestrate, is if you visit more than one ACM machine on same day and manage to get offered total spend coupons for different amounts, i.e. 250pts wys £30 and a 300pts wys £35 - these will work together quite nicely! I've also done this twice, once on self serve and once on photo counter where I bombarded the bloke with so many coupons that he would forget by the end that he'd already had a total spend at the beginning!!!!!!
PS Hope Baba is doing well!0 -

Awh, thank you, yes she is doing wonderful, thank you for asking
I was going to hand over the £5.00 electrical coupon last ensuring the total stayed over £35.
I did not kow that you could combine 2 total spend vouchers though from the ACM
God, how many points have I missed out on     :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Also...does anyone have any ideas on a good glossing serum/creme, for applying AFTER you've styled your hair? I use JF sheer blonde gleam creme atm, and I fancy a change but would like something similar?

Natural Collection GWP: any news on how to get this one cheap?
PS: Don't mean to sound patronizing by I think we should avoid "id"ing particular SAs. I love the dragonlady nickname, and sometimes we do meet them in our attempts at grabbing a bargain, but we shouldn't get personal here in the forum... Not even concerning the opposite (any nickname for the nice SAs?), since in my opinion this could get them in trouble for being too permissive. Just my 2 cents.0
