I used 2 vouchers for Mitchum today at about 11.30 am. Don't know whether the time when people got refused was after this. Mine accepted fine. It was the £1 off vouchers.0

Anyway, as luck would have it I got a survey spit in the pinky-less transaction. Boy did I complain on my survey not only had I been deprived of a pinky, but I'd been overcharged by same store twice in space of a week and this was same store that had tills not issuing hair care vouchers a few months back.
CS rang me today and have issued 1000 points for the inconvenience. Spoke to a lovely lady who told me that Boots were issuing more surveys these days as they really want to hear what goes on in store.
Re the overcharging, the item in question above was No7 men's scrub listed as £6 on SEL but scanning at £6.50. The same has happened today with No7 men's shaving gel, also £6 on SEL but scanning at £6.50. I reckon the tills might be programmed to scan both these items at higher price but most SELs not changed yet. Could be useful to bear in mind for triggering new £5 spends for new vouchers?
But guess what!! When I went back this afternoon for the second time this had happened, I saw that the SA got a survey spit whilst doing my refund receipt. And, she thought I wouldn't notice but SHE QUICKLY SCREWED IT UP AND THREW IT AWAY! Should I complain?!
My last point of the day (for now!!) is that I used a PC coupon for 20% off baby table ware on two bowls reduced to £1. I expected to pay £1.60 for the pair but till only took 20p off for one of them.
And Tiara re Olay handcream, you weren't doing anything wrong so I'd complain to CS about how you were treated.
I would complain or at least mention it to the person you had been talking to on the phone, you are entitled to express you opinion on what way you are treated. I had it once with a really obnoxious SA, she was really rude and at the end of the transaction I got a survey which she screwed up and threw away. I asked her what was that and she said "oh its not for you", my son then decided he had to have a packet of Smints and guess what I got after paying for them....another survey. I snatched it and told her I'm sure that ones mine. Wrote everything up, never heard anything from CS but then I've never seen the SA either.Norn Iron Club Member No 1270 -

Hi all
I don't suppose anyone would like to do a swap with me??
I have the No7 Rainbow Eye Palette (New unused) but would REALLY like a New Rainbow Bronzer Palette instead. I'm willing to swap the Eye Pallette and a TS voucher + a couple of photo vouchers if anyone would like to?
PM me if your interested?
Cheers0 -
Rubbish Bootsing today
Tried to get Olay hand cream and a Ruby and Millie bag.
Was holding till spits in my hand, the SA snatched the No 7 one out of my hand and said "You can only use the No 7 voucher, that's £4.97"!
I pointed out the hand cream was Olay total effects, and that there was actually a red label next to the hand cream price label saying "You can use your £5 voucher on this product", but she was having none of it.
It wasn't even her refusal that annoyed, me, it was her downright rudeness!
I said I didn't want the hand cream and would pick something else with the voucher. She then went on to try to charge my £4.97- I had to politely ask her to void the hand cream 3 times before she actually did it!
She begrudgingly voided it eventually, and then decided it wasn't right I should get the Ruby and Millie bag for nothing  despite having actually scanned the voucher, and the till accepting it, she then said "Oh no, you can't have this with the voucher as it's already reduced"
So I ended up leaving it, and even then she tried to keep my vouchers!
Then tried to get some Sanctuary face masks with the facial voucher (paid upstairs lol) but the moisturising one hasn't worked with the till spit so got charged full price for that
It's a real pain as that was the last Olay hand cream on the shelf (wonder why they've all disappeared if you can't use the till spit on them ).
I don't object to them being strict on the t&c's- you're probably not meant to be able to get the handcream anyway with the voucher as it does say facial, but there is no need to be so rude!! Oh I would love SS tills so much, at least they can't be rude to you if it goes wrong :rotfl:
Has put me right off Boots now.
Oh you poor thing!
You should report her because that kind of rudeness is unforgiveable - the Total Effects Hand Cream is included in the offer, I've seen it marked up on the shelf as included in at least three different shops - and it scans perfectly well.
Please don't give up because of her!0 -
Decided I had been a bit silly yesterday not getting the reduced S&G clasped make up bag .'. just whizzed to the store , non left:mad: ..clearance section which was nice and neat and full last night had been raided..no curl serums instore either and there were at least 6 left last night.
Anyway managed to get thermal wrap, red hair glosser and 3 x mitchums, used mag voucer for free TS and 3 x Mitchum 5o% vouchers so £1.4x to pay. No prob in taking mitchum vouchers although they had to be manually input.
(SS are the vouchers you are referring to the huggies ones? as I think they do have individual codes on them ?)This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0 -

don't worry I am.. its just a toss up of which to use lol
!! I too had to have 2 of the latest no7 pallet so I can use one... I know where you are coming from on that comment (in another of your posts!) lol :T

I showed this coupon to the lovely SA today:
Save £5 on Electrical Beauty wys £30
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=13371943&postcount=2205
and she told me to hang on to it till the weekend as they would have 1/2 price items on offer for the bank holiday weekend!!:T
So, if for instance i bought a product that was originally £30 and reduced to £15 would i still be able to use the voucher?
I was under the impression that "reduced" items go through the tills as the "reduced" price and not the original price...It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

I'm not sure about your Q but shouldn't the voucher still work if the combined total of your electrical beauty items is over £30? For example if you got hair straightners at £20 reduced, and hair dryer at £15 reduced, you get £5 off? so more items for your money?Treasurer and Co Founder of - The Smile It Won't Hurt Club

i have spoken to HO today as i have problems with my boots card - i am only in the pc club, but now i'm in the 60's and over and its nbvdhfgahfgeagfaw up my card, i can still use it and get the discount while they sort it out for me. I had a lengthy conversation with the nice person i usually speak to and was told they are looking into a big fraud/scam with internet coupons - i immediatley told him i had used ONE which i have and it had my name on, apparently you are only supposed to use 1 of them and not hundreds and that coupon-net/star was getting confused lol, was trying to pull it due to abuse. Boots know what coupons you are using and will know if you are using your boots card as well, also the mitchum coupons were brought up and that these are being abused to make gains and boiots were aware of certain people going over the top.
Wow, that's worrying! The thing is, the Mitchum coupons didn't say you could only print or use just one. Any idea what they are going to do regarding people who used several Mitchum vouchers?0
